  • Dude, im probably much younger than you, but trust me, go out and buy a fold-over shovel...that way, you can still stick with the machete,too...

  • you do know that those snake bite kits do more harm than good right?

  • i get what your sayin about the whole bugout not always being military issues and ive even been asked why is 95% of my gear military, and i think the whole bugout bag is a great idea its not a game not a compitition but a life or death situation but i think that while building your bag and assembling your gear yuo should have some fun with it and thats what i tell people when they ask me that i say im obsessed with the army so i base my bag and gear off of them...overall great vids&gear bro .

  • You also need lithium "aa" they last much longer and add less weight!

  • What do you do if all your batteries die? You need a solar charger or winding charger with recharge batteries!!

  • Hey what pattern is that sniper veil you have?

  • what kind of walking stick is that? please answer. i am making a list to make my own Bag.

  • @KuppinCasual To be honest, I'm not sure what brand it is. I bought it at a local sporting goods store. It's a shooting stick with a "Y" at the top of the handle, but it unscrews and you can mount a camera on it too

  • @gwynn1975 Add bolt cutters/lock cutters. They would add weight, but in an area like mine they would be extremely useful.

  • great vid man, thanks!

  • Excelent video. Lots of good tips on BOB supplies for the bag I'm making. Much needed help. Thank you!

  • Information is key....get something like a Kaito KA11 short-wave AM/FM pocket radio. Not only is it good for morale, but you are able to get a better understanding of your tactical and strategic situation. If your a HAM, then step up to a decent transceiver as well.

  • Nice setup. My only thing made me cringe when you mentioned two things...cold steel and shovel. I don't like CS. I also have a love/hate relationship with shovels. They tend to be heavy, clunky, and limited in usage (unless you spetsnaz that up) and I only use it only 2-3 times the entire trip. I Even hate bringing it on camping trips, I'll let someone else hold it.

  • you have never been robbed have you?

looking like you have nothing, is more important than not looking militant.

a $10 walmart backpack, with nothing on the outside, and ragged clothes. no rifle, or fancy doodads

as far as "bugging" out gear, it should be totes, than can be in, or loaded into your car.

bugging out on foot, into the wilds, is very delusional

  • @dreamthinker79 Watch his other videos.

  • I wouldn't ditch the rifle. If situations get bad enough everyone that has a rifle or shotgun will be carrying it openly. We saw this in New Orleans after Katrina and in north Alabama when tornadoes hit back in April.

  • @ 246 .... you said walking threw an urban area while in a worse case you would ditch your rifle....why would you ditch your rifle of all things....

  • @crf450rvta to keep from looking like a combatant in a wartime situation however better plan would be since the AR-15 platform is easy to break down, pop the pins and put it in your pack. That is also why you want to get the 16 inch barrel and the 6 position collapsible stock, also with the red dot sight or the ACOG you can ditch the carry handle and make it smaller and easier to fit into a GO-BAG.

  • @crf450rvta

it might not be a posibility to keep it on you, martial law for example. and you would cache it, not toss it in the river

  • Sry meant file

  • It's sharp on the edges because during ww1 n 2 soldiers would take agile n sharpen the edges for even more use

  • Good choice in getting away from the tactical bag, you will get lots more help and relieve a lot of apprehension.

  • i love ur vidz man. i took ur advice on ur zombie bag and i have one now with some of ur stuff in it. thanks for the info. keep up the good work

  • killer video

  • Holding a AR dont look tactical? Good video...

  • 2:26 it looks like your wearing a watch though

  • This is really great, gets me thinking about what I need to have ready in case of a SHTF situation.

  • how much cost for all equpiment exclusind the bag

  • nice

    I just bought my bag

    now its time for equpimnet!!

urs is a good advice to take!

  • just wondering what pattern is your sniper veil and where did you get it

  • @561gingerninja i will answer this even though it is a little old. The pattern is multicam and you can get them from ebay, amazon, airsoft websites...etc

  • 1st, luv ur vids & gear. 2nd, I plan to stay with my Rush72 tho it does have the military style. Reason, i plan to meet up with my pack & we will all sport military style gear: vests, pants, bags, weaps, etc so that we "hopefully" look to be a threat in place or on the move and not look as a possible victim. I get what ur doin and agree just believe a loner will have a hard time so getting peeps prepped. Keep the vids comin. Thnx

  • where did u get that shovel and walking stick? nice vid man.

  • Was this fun?

  • its good to see someone with a legitimate b.o.b. most videos ive seen are kids with nothing but a bb gun, top ramen packets, and a compass. thank you for posting such a good video! :)

  • Maybe you might think of first aid for a bullet wound..

  • @MrJustCollin tampons

  • @gogetlifted Haha Not sure that would be too effective

  • To hide your pack you could always use asolid color rainproof cover to make you nice durable maxpedition look non-threatening instead of having to trade it for a northface which won't last as long when you need it to.

  • whats the name of that walkinng stick and where did you get that walking pole (i live in england so i probable wont be able to get it from the same place) ?

  • @GetToDaChoppaaa Izula, OD Green, with Kit.

  • i have searched high and low for that bag and i cant find it! please help me

  • nice vid

  • does anybody know where u can purchase strike anywhere matches

  • @bandit1741 Ace Hardware.

  • very good. finally someone dropping the tactical mall ninja look.

i would not plan on using the space inside your water bottle as storage, when it is full of water you will not be able to.

also very good to see some one using a framed backpack. if any of the other people ever PRACTICED they would know it is pure pain to carry a 30 lb load with a frameless.

    very good vid

  • Agree wholly about the bag needing to be of a"social"nature.Your gear will get you targeted by some. However,I couldn't part with the rifle for protection, hunting etc.I recommend the AR pistol 10.5" barrel in 5.56 will fit nice in that bag.(very acc.out to 200-250yds even with the eotech.)Good luck friend!

  • Another idea for a first aid kit is a simple arm sling it light weight and dosnt take space plus if u break an arm u cant really tie a sling and adjust it with a broken arm but with an already made sling it should be adjusted

Already and saves use of the bandana for a signal flag

  • Very nice, i just ordered the Vulture II shown in your other Vid. I agree with the military look argument, however, If a bad guy is going to target you, i don't think it will depend on the bag you carry but more upon if he thinks he can take you down or not. Military gear can be a plus in that matter. If you look the part he may think twice. Only overseas would I not in anyway want to look military"ish.

  • can you post a link to that "dropping the tactical nylon" video that you were talking about? i cant find it....

    btw good setup.

  • Comment removed

  • Great tips, thanks. I dunno if you have been following patrioticspace but the great earthquake isn't far away. I beleive its highly likely to be triggered during the nle for the new madrid line on the 16th-20th may. I'm currently logged into my channel that is also filled with my clowning but my other channel is angusjohnbarron.

  • What kind of backpack is that?

    brand, and model?

  • @DustinTheGoth It's an Alpine Lowe 3500.> Thanks for watching

  • @gwynn1975 I dig this setup out of all the rest i've seen, and I'm getting ready to assemble a BOB very similar to this. I have an e tool, but I like your idea of a survival shovel better. Going to pick one up at the surplus store this weekend. Also very good advice about keeping all your gear as civilian looking as possible. No need to draw unwanted attention if you go into an urban area!

  • @DucknCoverin Thank you very much my friend.. Stay safe

  • dude, awesome advice about the more civilian looking backpack. thanks!

  • @ljdavisson Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the video

  • thats sick man awsome!!!!

  • @army1255 Thanks Army!!

  • please tell me where you got that cool backpack. i wanna get one

  • @bubber25 I bought it from a local sporting goods store here in Spokane WA

  • I have seen a few of these bug out things now. From my point of view I just don’t get it. What the hell do people think is going to happen? How is this stuff going to help you? I am in the UK so I know the country side is different hear. But I was a gamekeeper and did from time to time spend long stretches of out and never needed all that crap to keep going. The shops that sell all this rubbish must be laughing all the way to the bank. Or am I completely missing the point hear?

  • @tina6581 Obviously you're missing the point. What if your house burns down and you need to go to your friends house for awhile. What happens when civil unrest/economic collapse happens and your house gets looted and you have to run and hide in the woods? What are you gonna do when WW3 happens? You never know why you need this stuff.. Do you have car insurance? How is that ever gonna help you if you don't get into an accident? Point made

  • @gwynn1975 When my flat got turned over and I lost everything I stayed at my mates and I didn’t need a bag of bits and bobs. As for unrest and state collapse ect. Still don’t see what good a bag of bits and bobs will do. I have a car crash kit and have used it as we have crashes all the time. Your logics to what if to hell and back and cant see why. Is where you live unstable, dangerous to live in? If it is why stay? I have been mugged three times. But have a anty geting mugged kit.

  • @tina6581 "A bag of bits and bobs" may just make the difference in being stranded helpless waiting for help that may not come, and being able to take care of yourself and even help others while getting to a safer area. Even though you scoff at the idea of societal collapse there are endless common scenarios where such an array of items could save your life. For example, I live in a hurricane prone area in the eastern U.S. so it will most likely come in handy for that. Still, you never know...,

  • @DucknCoverin Mate I am not scoffing. I just fail to get the point. Example you point out you live in a hurricane zone. There is not a single thing in the kit shown that would be of the blindest use after a hurricane. Hurricanes you need to dig people out and make shelters and med kits to treat the injured. Well the tools and stuff to make shelters would be spared all over as would food and fire lighting kit. But you barley have any med stuff the one thing that would be in very sort supply.

  • @tina6581 Good point I guess, but this man is probably like myself, not worried about treating everyone else. If it ever comes down to the nitty gritty Im just worried about me and my family. Keeping enough first aid for us, and if i can help someone else thats great but not my priority. Maybe they should have been a little more prepared. Not being a troll here, just saying.

  • @JusLookinRound804 Mate I think you have given me the insight I was looking for. When the shit hit’s the fan I look out for others and expect and get the same. Some people clearly don’t think like that or have the expectation of their community helping them. I have to say I would move if I lived in a place that I felt was like that. Or that seemed so close to collapse that you need to prepare for the end of things. :-(

  • @gwynn1975 i ordered a Gerber Prodigy today. It's a slightly scaled down version of the lmf 2, only unlike the lmf 2 the prodigy is full tang and has a silent sheath. it's awesome, made in the U.S.A. and only for about $45. you should check it out Trevor I think you'd like it. it's make a beastly bug out blade. nice gear btw

  • @gwynn1975 hey that aquimira straw water filter were did u get it cuz ive went to bass pro shop and dicks and lookesd all over the internet and i cant find it thanks

  • @tina6581 An earthquake perhaps? take Japan for example, How many people have gone without food for 72hrs?

  • @tina6581 Hopefully most people will never need to be in a survival situation. It's not about 'living in fear', it's just common sense to understand we live in an unpredictable world where anything can happen and to be prepared for anything. How many people have taken everything in life for granted then wished they'd not been so naive when something unexpected happened?

  • walking sticks a great idea and all your tips are too, one more use for walking stick is a spear for fishing and small game hunting.

  • @MICHAELPITBULLGYLES Thank you. Thats a great idea with the walking sticks too. Thanks!

  • do you dirtbike?

  • @garrettzkool63 I used to until I broke my back.. Thanks for watching

  • @gwynn1975 aww man im sorrry. thats gotta be tough. but keep up the reviews theyre awesome!

  • that guns pointing right at your head, lol kidding

  • @aceofspaids98 That'll never happen.. LOL

  • Nice.Vid. hey I have a question. What happen to your old pack .? The Maxpedtion Vultur ii Foliage , You still have it? If yes would you be interested selling it?

  • @sarkaris Oh man, sorry. I already sold it. Thanks for watching though.

  • Nice.Vid. hey I have a question. What happen to your old pack .? The Maxpedtion Vultur ii Foliage , You still have it? If yes would you be interested selling?

  • BIOLOGICAL CHEMICALS???

  • @nitroflesh Yeah, I messed that one up huh? LOL

  • @gwynn1975 No problem. We are all mistakes we make humans.

  • personally i love the m14 i know it holds a decent amount of weight but the stopping power is huge along with proven capabilities and accuracy also love the flags gwynn

  • @andrewubaldi Thanks Andrew.. Long time no see. I hope all is well with you and your family. Take care

  • What kind of pack is that you are using here? Also what is the size?

  • @myesque It's a Lowe Alpine 35 Liter.. thanks for watching my friend..

  • your carrying an assault rifle. thats more tactical then any bag

  • @buddycanifinish But I can survive without the rifle.. I can ditch that easily.. I can't survive as long without the bag if it comes to it..

  • What kind of walking stick is that ?? where can I buy it ??

  • @MrMuchotres It's a Butler Creek.. You can find them at Cabela's.. Atleast that is where I got mine a few years ago.. Thanks for watching

  • i dont believe u used an old bicycle inner tube at all, i think u went and bought one with full intention of cutting it up!! : )

  • @davism4a1 HAHA.. Believe it or not, I did actually use an old one.. Unfortunately, the kids have a flat tire now and can't ride their bikes.. LOL.. Thanks for watching

  • You might want to look at a Keltec Sub2000 carbine.

Folded it is about 16" long and would fit in your pack, out of sight.

There are several different models that take S&W mags as well as Glock and Beretta in either 9mm or .40 cal. So you could use your M&P mags in either your sidearm or the carbine.

Price new is about $300 but many models are back ordered.

  • @RA59 I've looked into them, and I've shot quite a few of the ones that take the Glock mags. Pretty cool little guns. I've thought about getting one, just haven't committed to it yet. Thanks

  • your gun is too shiny even the sheen from a persons face and cost them their life.

  • @TeleporterM11 So will white teeth.. thats why I'm having all mine removed.. LOL

  • gwynn that hank of paracord looked like the one i sent you lol

  • @andrewubaldi HAHA.. good eye.. It is the one you sent.. thanks again

  • @gwynn1975

that looking like a guy just trying to survive is pretty cool, do you mind if I use that idea in my kit?

  • @idk2say Don't mind at all.. That's why I put these videos up.. Thanks for watching

  • @gwynn1975

    no, thank you.

  • Great video Trevor!! Keep up the great work!

  • @evankoeve Thanks my friend..

  • Well thought out kit my friend, thanks for some good idea's

  • @1AbominAble1 Thank you sir!!

  • Great gear! I like your setup so far and look forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing Trevor!

  • @edgedweapon88 Thanks Keelen..

  • Nice job Trevor love ur vids Bud! Especially when it comes down to survival subjects! Truth is, It really doesnt matter the kind or color of backpack u have if the SHTF.... having a back pack period......... is going to make u stand out!

  • @ascorpio09 Thank you Lisa.. I agree with you about standing out, but I think a military look will make you more of a target..

  • looks like the northwest out there.

  • @fatdan172501 Yep.. I live in Washington State

  • @gwynn1975 haha i new it lol. i recognize my home always it always looks wet even in summer lol. reporting from Vancouver keep up the good work.

  • @fatdan172501 Cool!! I'm over in the Spokane area..

    Thanks for watching

  • @gwynn1975 awsome ive herd its nice out there.

  • i would wrap the handle of that izula with para cord, gives u a bit xtra

    nice vid though

  • @scottishbushcrafter Thanks for the idea.. I'll try that

  • Trevor...where did you get the MC veil? send me link plz! Also...when are we getting an Izula review? I'm trying to sell one of my folding knives now to get one.

  • @lordmonfort I got the veil from a local Army Surplus store by my house.. I can look and see if he has anymore if you'd like..

The Izula review is coming.. I want to use it a couple more times and get a good feel for it..

Send me a message with what knives you are selling please

  • id replace the shovel with an axe, just a better tool i think, doesnt matter wich axe, just gotta be sharp and strong :P

  • @bushcraftourway I disagree.. but that's the beauty of life.. LOL

I can do much more with the shovel than I could an axe.. I can chop pretty thick stuff with this shovel.. I'll be doing a review on it soon

  • Nice Kit so far. I look forward to seeing the shovel in action. I heard great things about it. One question - is the CS shovel heavier than a collapsing issue shovel?

  • @CdnLifeguard71 It's a little heavier, but so far, it seems WAY more dependable and sturdy than the folding GI shovels (E-tools)

    Thanks for watching

  • I've thought about not looking too tactical myself, and I recently bought a Vulture II by Maxpedition. I'd always thought that Maxpedition bags were closer to normal looking than military looking. I guess I was wrong.

  • @thedealer456 If you got the black Vulture II then I think you'll be more non-tactical than an OD Green one.. I have the Foliage, and to me, it just screams MILITARY..

    Thanks for watching

  • @gwynn1975 It does look fairly militaristic, but my original thought was that it was a decent compromise between a plain Jansport or North Face type bag, and a true military pack like the Spec Ops T.H.E. In any case, I can still use it for camping, training, shooting trips, or whatever and tactical or not it is a great bag.

  • @thedealer456 I completely agree with you.. I love my Vulture II.. They are awesome bags.. I still use mine for day hikes and the occasional overnighter.. Thanks again for the response and watching

  • Marmot is good stuff. Sounds like it's getting cold out there, bro. It's still pretty warm here on the east coast. Glad to see you getting to a followup to the vid that made me sub to your channel, dude :)

  • @MrJimbofox It's that time of year, when the days are still warm, but it gets pretty darn cold at night.. Thanks for watching and sticking around to see the follow up..

  • i think you made a mistake when you said 50feet of cord in the bracelet ? 15 maybe?

  • @jhynesyahoo No.. It's about 50 feet.. Notice how thick this one is.. My friend and I made these, so I know how much is in there.. Thanks for watching

  • @gwynn1975 thats mental, i make them myself, i can only fit 20feet max, well done, great vids as well.

  • @gwynn1975 Dont mean to drag the point on but if thats the king cobra weave survival bracelet (cobra weave over a cobra weave) you get 1 foot of iner paracord, 6 on your first weave and about 8' on the outer weave... i think he was right in saying it was 15'. 50 feet is alot man... i wear 1 daily the same size. srry to drag this out. great vid.

  • @Kane5565 you guys are probably right. I guess I should pay more attention next time my buddy makes these around me. My apologies. Thanks for the heads up.

  • what bag is that?

  • Great vid. That AR is awesome.

  • @stealthyspider Thank you very much

  • not wanting to be tactical and you drop your bag but you still carrying the m4 lol

  • @GlockAnimal Actually, I said I would drop the AR.. those are easier to live without than the bag

  • @gwynn1975 just givn a little shit i just thought it was funny when ya was like No tactical so im swiching ot more of a civi bag as your holding an M4 lol kinda funny great video though and good little series.

  • im loving the new intro

  • @0122358 Thank you!!

  • @gwynn1975 btw...although i agree with going less nylon tactical and blending in...i think when it comes to alice packs people are safe...theyre like the M65 of rucks, thousands of people have them...just my assumption.

  • A military-look can either give an advantage or disadvantage in a SHTF situation but I agree with you man; in my opinion, a military look can backfire. [ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ] !

  • @iyBesao Thank you iyBesao.. I would rather wear earth tones than camo... Thanks for watching

  • your b.o.b is going to help me when i make mine.

  • @GregCorporations Glad I could help.. Thanks for watching

  • It seems we have the same interest in lights because i have the same headlamp, flashing/not flashing LED (in red), and chemlight looking light as you but i dont have the sidewinder light that you have.

  • @mrfirstbase0 Great minds think alike.. My g/f got me the Sidewinder.. LOL.. Thanks for watching

  • Wow, very well thought out so far.

  • @CaptainFur Thank you CptFur

  • wow looks like you have some $ bolted onto that AR. Nice bag but if SHTF i doubt it will really matter what pack you are wearing as any one with a pack will be a target. also and most important mil spec packs ride higher allowing you to wear a pistol belt. id use whatever you have the most important part is what is inside of the pack. for me i use the med alice with frame

  • @cbr6864 Well, I was wearing my pistol, knife and magazines on my belt and the pack never touched them.. The Alice Pack is a great BOB.. thanks for watching

  • man i wish u were my dad....lol,ur vids are awsome, i love my dad tho

  • @LaneMaddox00 LOL.. Glad to hear you love your dad.. Thanks for watching my friend

  • So far so good! Can't wait for part 2! Thanks for sharing!

  • @katabunga Thanks Kat..

  • Great video can't wait for part 2. Thanks man for the vids.

  • @PeteyP3t3 Thanks for watching Pete

  • I like the idea of wrapping your first aid kit in a bandana, very good idea. Have you ever looked at sil-nylon pouch to carry it in? They are light weight, and water resistant.

  • @MBlackford100 Thank you.. I will check out those pouches
