  • She needs to see the first minute of video:

Carl Sagan on "God" and "gods"

    /watch?v=4E-_DdX8Ke0

  • I cringe every time somebody asks what came before time...

  • Comment removed

  • Unbiased referee, my ass.

  • The photos used for the speakers speak volumes.

  • Christopher Hitchens just destroyed those idiots

  • Laura is such a stupid twat

  • The Nazis were NOT CHristians MORON. THey were atheists...Hitler despised Christians and Goering had to convince him to place nice the the German Church...what an idiot.

  • @mmacburt Hitler was an outspoken catholic. You can argue that he didn't represent your religion very well, but you can't call him atheist. He clearly was not an atheist.

  • @mmacburt actually they were christian ..... i was born in england and all my grandparents fought in ww2. hitler even says it in numerous speechs. you are just a RA tard

  • The Nazis were Christians. Question. Answered.

  • If she wasn't such a prattling moron she would be quite fit....

  • Arguing with Christopher Hitchens is like poking a sleeping dragon in the eye with your dick.

  • @fuck192ass Lol. I don't think you will ever understand the profound stupidity of your comments.

Who handed me my own ass? because it certainly wasn't you.

Why don't you carry on denying historical fact then call it logic. But please do it to someone else.

  • @fuck192ass WTF are you talking about? Who's talking about "Logic"? You brought that up, so if anyone is pathetic it is you.

Someone called you on your ignorant bullshit so you try and change the subject real quick.

Did you really think your comment was so good you had to post it twice?

  • @fuck192ass Again that is exactly what i said. To paraphrase your whole argument: You deny historical fact.

I have 5000 years of recorder history on my side, you seem to have trouble processing simple information.

  • @fuck192ass If you choose to ignore my answers, that is up to you. But don't say i'm not answering them. I have given two answers that demonstrate why religion impedes the possibility of populating other planets. At no point did i say it was "contrary", you said that.

I didn't think you would deny 5000 years of historical fact but you did, and i am shocked. All religions are based on death and the afterlife, that is the reason it was made up, fear of death. *Basis knowledge Facepalm*

  • @fuck192ass In order to populate the universe we would have to be an advanced civilization, they go hand in hand.

Seriously, your brain must have very little processing power if you couldn't deduce that

The funny thing is the death obsession has been an essential part of all religions, especially Christianity and Islam. To be honest i don't see how you can argue with that concrete fact. Polytheistic religions wanted the odd sacrifice but monotheistic ones want complete and utter extermination.

  • @fuck192ass When i say "we would be populating the universe" I mean we would be a much more advance civilization.

Just think of all the ways in which religion has impeded scientific advances. Not only that but all religions have a death obsession. They can't wait for the apocalypse to come. In order for space travel to be viable we would have to be around for a very long time. But thanks to ancient fictional characters, i don't think we will ever see that day.

  • @fuck192ass Try using your brain for a second. You might get the answer.

  • i wonder if hitchens knows that he is going to win every time

  • Laura Ingraham is just another mindless theist. Easy fodder. Any atheist with any knowledge at all could smoke her.

  • If you really believe in something that is there, it’s delusion.

If you see something that isn’t there, it’s hallucination.

    Both are mental illnesses!

Religion is a mental illness. Fact!

Ignorance is forgivable until it becomes a guiding principle!

  • @cliffo1950 thanks, comments like yours give me some hope for mankind. I never could believe in any religion. Not smarter, not wiser, just not gullible enough. If there was a god I like it would be Ganesh, the elephant headed god, he i supposed to remove obstacles in your life. Sounds good, ridiculous, but fun.

  • It also really pissed Christians off when they are talking about god, and you assume they are talking about Ganesh and look surprised when they question your assumption. I love those people that think theirs is the only god, and all the other ones are ridiculous. No, no, Their magic is true, not that other BS.

  • There's a reason they need to put two people up against an atheist. =) Still isn't fair for the theists... they need like 5 theists to take on an atheist! It's like Jackals, you need a ton of them to take on a lion... and the Jackals are still gonna take a hell of a beating!

  • How is Hitchens the Jewish bitchins getting on with his cancer? It should be no problem to a scientific man like him to crush that. Then again maybe he is just another emotional cripple seeking all his answers in the intellect. Lots of those about, especially in his fan club.

  • @guydecervens

why are you calling him jewish? lol... dumbassss

  • @YOYOdaMOOSE The Jewish line is maternal. Hitchens mother, Yvonne Hickman was Jewish, therefore he is Jewish. His maternal grandmother, Dorothy Levin, came from Breslau, Germany. Hitchens cousin, David Szmulevski, was a Polish war criminal who committed atrocities against German prisoners after WW2. Hitchens is a strident Zionist and supporter of Israel. His intellectual act is just a lure to entice atheists to his hate speech against Christians and Muslims. Dumbassss!

  • @guydecervens

    He is an ANTI-Zionist, DUMBASSSSSS.

Judaism is a religion, not a genetic heritage, you fucking moron. There aren't words strong enough to describe how monumentally idiotic you are, as clearly evidenced by everything you say.

  • @guydecervens "Yvonne Hickman was Jewish, therefore he is Jewish"

Oh yeah? Well my grandmother was a Redskins fan - so therefore I must be, too.

P.S. I think your DUNCE cap is on too tight.

  • @guydecervens So his intellect is:

    1) an act

    2) Made to lure atheists into hating Christians and Muslims?

Firstly the intellect isn't an act as can be seen in practically every one of his debates. He answers question relevantly and with logic, why you say it's an act is beyond me. Second off atheists (such as myself) don't hate the followers as a rule, we oppose certain ideas and teachings of the religion its self.

  • @guydecervens "Then again maybe he is just another emotional cripple seeking all his answers in the intellect."

You're confused... you don't need an answer to all questions. An honest person admits that they don't know everything, and only a coward is scared by that and needs religion to help pacify them.

"It should be no problem to a scientific man like him to crush that."

    Indeed he did!

  • @guydecervens How is Chris getting on with his cancer, the same as any other cancer sufferer you insufferable idiot. Only the relaigious are emotionally crippled.

  • I doubt that there is a dogmatist of any sort that can test Hitchens because dogma makes intelligent people seem stupid. I'd love to hear Hitchens debate someone as smart as he is who considers every individual's consciousness to be a continuum. Atheists may feel there is no such person but assuming their is i'm very curious about how Hitchens would respond to that challenge. If such a debate has already happened can someone please tell me where to find it.

  • I'd love to hear the rest of the debate. It certainly doesn't sound like Hitchens has been tested so far.

  • A question that is more important than health care? Yeah, worrying if your flying spaghetti monster is real is much more important than kids being able to go to the doctor. WHAT FUCKING PLANET ARE YOU FROM LAURA?!

  • No, Hitchens is wrong about Dylan. His first three albums were the most beautiful of his life.

  • even so called intelligent fundamentalist christians talk only bullshit.

  • problem is that most in power beleive in religion and are the ones that write the crazy laws

  • "God is the definition of all things" - Wilson

What a perfect way to just utterly slam the door on any hope of thought or inquiry. There is nowhere to go with that as your assumed first principle. You may as well be an obstinate little toddler, sticking your fingers in your ears, squeezing your eyes shut and screaming "LALALALALA!! I'M NOT LISTENING TO YOU!!"

  • He hits on her every time she interviews him. stud.

  • Yeah because everyone knows that the question "is Christianity good for the world" is far more important then, Oh I dunno, Soldiers dieing, the resent disaster in Japan, Cancer research, AIDS research, murder, rape, OHHH and just about everything else out there that you can think of.... This woman is clearly retarded.

  • 2:00 Ingraham bitches out Hitchens for clearing his throat on the air. Not long after this, Hitchens was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.

Does Laura Ingraham hate cancer patients? We report, you decide.

  • That's stupid to say "there is all this stuff out there so there must be a god over it."

What if I were to say if I had my wish, and I could either exist or not exist, I'd wish to exist. Therefore a genie must be the cause of all the world.

Or maybe I could say that the universe is full of chaos, therefore pixies created it.

Or the universe is made out of light, therefore a Dragon made it.

Doug Wilson, you worship the God of the Gaps. I don't know how X occurred, therefore god did it.

  • Doug Wilson must sigh every time Ingram poses one of those typical believer questions like "what was at the beginning then?" since he's already been through the ringer with this genius debater and can see the mighty rhetorical hand wind up to swat those puny objections.

  • Ingraham is worse than Palin... not even close to a decent opponent for Hitch... her ugly monotone... fucking inane Blonde Ambition

  • If you want to hear less of lauras annoying voice video starts at 3:43

  • Does this woman speak with her arse?

  • Christopher hitchens argues that religion poisons everything...I disagree...I think man poisons religion. For many years evolutionist claimed that the universe was eternal and una caused. But they can no longer hold to that claim because the overwhelming evidence points to the universe coming into being (the big bang) so they cannot legitimately object when I make the same claim about god. He is eternal & una caused.

  • @newj34 Holy books that say women are second class citizens, homosexuals are doomed to fire, all other nonbelievers will go to hell, it is ok to beat children, thought crime is illegal, and on and on, cause more trouble than anything. Those who are religious and remove these unsavory aspects make it more respectable, but religion in its purest form is fraught with tribal evil.

  • @thesands49

    Please...

Atheism in its purest form can't acknowledge that evil even exixts...

So you might wanna try again, rookie

  • @grateful1 Let me just grant you that one thought and then ask you; which is worse to not acknowledge evil or to condone it? An atheist would say, no one gives them authority to perform their actions; they are each accountable. It is certainly much harder to say that in the other case.

  • @thesands49

K, first of all I apologize for the snyde "rookie" comment at the end of that previous reply

But now to answer your question...It seems that you've missed the point... An atheist can't talk about what's "Worse"... what do you mean "Worse"? There is no such thing as "bad" in the purest form of atheism...

I can't respond to your question the way you would perhaps like me to, simply because it attempts to gloss over my previous point, and disregard its validity..

    What is bad?

  • @grateful1 A debate on the internet without insults going back and forth? Always glad to see that it is still possible (not to be patronizing). Honestly I don't know if that's really pure atheism or nihilism. I would assert that what you describe is nihilism, which does not fully cover atheism.

  • @grateful1 well first you have to tell me what the purest form of atheism is before you can make that claim? I would say what you are arguing is something in between moral relativism and nihilism. I see it that what is considered bad has universal axioms to which we can agree for the sake of the survival of our species and self interest, but I think at time morality can be dictated by society. For example murder is bad, but killing a man in military combat is permissible.

  • To argue first cause or infinite regression is to be absolutely ignorant to the nature of information itself. If anyone can tell me WHEN 2+2 first started to equal 4 then I'll admit that looking at so-called 'infinite regression' would be a valid point to examine. Until then, the nature of information itself needs not and cannot have a catalyst. The "problem of first cuase" is not a problem. It a point that can only be made if we superimpose OUR locale (time-space) on ALL else in all time.

  • It's a point that can only be made if we superimpose OUR locale (time-space) on ALL else in all time AND "?non-time?"

    -

  • @newj34 I would agree with that - man most definately poisons religion, specifically Christianity. The sins of chrisitians can be catalogued, and they are great, but the sins of mankind are un-numbered and beyond counting.

  • @havock89 Christianity was poisoned when mankind invented it. This is also true of islam and other deity based religions. There is no proof whatsoever a deity exists, and no evidence the morality claimed by these religions is in any way moral as they practice it. Nor can it be demonstrated that morality or immorality are concepts that flow from a god. Morality is a human construct and it is claimed by religions as their own sacred ground even as they assiduously and with intense glee ignore it.

  • @sailcat9 Once again. This is your revision of what Chrisitanity is. I prefer to describe my faith for myself and not accept the polemic of someone like yourself.

There is plenty of proof in my life, and plenty for my own purposes. It is you who are out of luck. You dont even understand the concept of morality from a christian perspective, let alone any of the more complex theology. Hahaha!

Ther is no proof God doesnt exist either. I reject you perception and surplant it with my own!

  • @havock89 "Ther is no proof God doesnt exist either. I reject you perception and surplant it with my own!" So, you have replaced reality with your own fantasy world. I wish you had said that earlier for I would not have wasted my time on you.

  • @sailcat9 No. I have replaced your fantasy, with my own. It was a joke moron. But you are a waste of time, so dont let it bother you. lol

  • @sailcat9 You cannot prove a negative! If you believe and want to convince me you have the burden of proving he does exist.

  • @cdhanks Read the post. I was quoting someone else to point out his logical fallacy.

  • argh so nasal!

  • I enjoy how the religious throw around the idea that the universe couldn't of come from anything. Of course it didn't you fools. But what seems more easier for them to totally except that some super natural being built the universe than to inquisitive into the origins of everything and to apply critical, scientific thought. So, I pose this question to the religious: if you except that that god is so complex, what made him? Hint: mankind did and he's used as a crutch to do evil things

  • How is it being unbiased to step in and start presenting arguments for theism that detract from the arguments being discussed

ie; origin arguments in the middle of morality arguments

  • If religious fanatics like this never existed, we would be populating the rest of the universe by now.

  • @NoWitnessesNoRegrets that's what i'm saying

  • @NoWitnessesNoRegrets while i agree with your concept; u can't be serious when you say we'll be populating the rest of the UNIVERSE?? Our Milky Way alone is so gigantic we'll be lucky if we manage to leave our Local Star Group in the next thousand years (even with all the religous fanatics gone)...

  • @NoWitnessesNoRegrets

I so agree with you man. Religion has held us back so damn much that I know that we would be alot further in technology and exploration if it wasn't for this type of idiology. We would at least have flying cars and cures for many deadly diseases by now. But nooooo

  • the pic of christopher is SHIT!!!!!! and so is LAURA da

  • Patient teacher struggling with 2 students of low IQ

  • Brainless cow.

  • "let me interject- where did the universe come from? whats the definition of infinite?" i cant imagine both debaters didnt slam their foreheads on the table. dont invite us to debate on your show and then ruin our debate.

  • I love how christians ask what happened before the big bang - as if this proves that god is real... Seriously...

Well 'what happened before god, and how did god come about?

  • LOL, I like how impartial she is.

  • The Universe .......came out of your ass Laura...i thought you knew that.

  • First the thing about christians on evolution generally have not read Evolution books. So we get this ignorant group who argue based on what they are told to think about evolution. Not from the books like if you have questions on the Origins of species go to a bookstore and buy it. Its that simple!

  • Being a Brit I am unfamiliar with Ingrahams, but I saw her interviewing on behalf of the O'Reilly Factor and you really could be forgiven for thinking O'Reilly had had an extremely successful sex change, especially with her 'and I'll tell you something...'

  • Damn, this bitch has the most ANNOYING fucking voice!!!

  • I'm surprised how you can tell she's a bitch just strictly by her voice.....weird! lol

  • @PaytonFu

Assuming that's sarcasm to make a point, I disagree with your intended point. Body language accounts for about 55% of communication, that's true, but only for three reasons. 1: We tend to let words take a back seat to tone and facial expression. 2: That 55% accounts for real life situations, not face-to-face debating. 3: If we relied so heavily on body language to determine character, it wouldn't take much to fool everyone into thinking you're a saint. That's why voice is so important.

  • @CaptSeriouspants Yes my statement was that of sarcasm...however I did not intend for my point to be taken on the difference between body language and actual words. I think you may have jumped to an assumption. My point was that she does sound bitchy, however its what she says that makes her a bitch. Not sure where body language came into the discussion?

On number 2, I fail to see the distinction between real life and face to face debating...I don't see one as "non real life".

  • @PaytonFu

My bad. By face-to-face and "real life" I meant... actually, I have no idea what I meant. I was tired and I guess I didn't double check everything I said. I don't know what I was thinking. =/

Well, anyway, one can tell she's a bitch by the way she acts and speaks. That's all I meant.

  • Christopher Hitchens is the fucking man! Religion is for the weak minded, self-loathing, ignorant, maggots, who can't live their own lives!

  • @Tarn1968 You're halfway there!

  • Laura Ingraham rocks!

  • @djhyefx Go to college.

  • @djhyefx i will send you money for collage..ok?

  • wow, she didnt even attempt impartiality

  • I really like Laura Ingraham, she's intelligent and very beautiful but she is no match for Hitchens, politics aside

  • @darkwolfdv

"Very beautiful"? You're on hallucinogenic drugs, aren't you?

  • chris just crushes his opposition

  • @robelstable for a horrible moment i thought you'd written "christ just crushes his opposition".

  • bye cant stand that cunts voice

  • God is a man made concept, we did not 'discover' god like we discovered fossils, we came up with him, just like we came up with santa and the tooth fairy. So lets stop treating god like its an idea that absolutely must be equated into the debate of the origins of the universe

  • love laura ingraham....she is excellent! if you're uncomfortable with Christians, it may be because of the side you're on. 2 sides, light and dark. dark is more comfortable with dark.

  • @bvandebunte haha moron

  • @bvandebunte you're uncomfortable with logic.

  • @bvandebunte your arrogance is offensive.

  • @bvandebunte YOu arrogant twat.

  • Laura, "I will try not to take a side" too! Like I'll try not to think that that FOX is full of misrepresentations and anything but fair and balanced. See, I can't do it either.

  • Sure to be full of facepalms courteous of Laura Ingraham.

  • 5:40 You can't say that you draw the line at certain points? You can't so because it harms you and/or your fellow man? You have to say just plain "God". And you know this through his actions? He is a genocidal (ten plaques egypt), baby killing, homophobe. He made a man sacrafice his son for him ego. He is a bastard. Good thing he isn't real. Your argument, Pastor, is horse shit.

  • "What's the definition of infinite?"

    What a fucking moron.

  • What a bimbo! What a fucking bimbo!

  • Can somebody please cut this bitch's vocal chords out.

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't think it was possible, but Laura Ingram is more annoying than Coultergeist.

  • Whats with the fag music at the start?

  • to ANTI-THEIST HITCHENS: you may be against the so called 'dictator' who supposedly controls our every move, but he's not against you.

That's why he sent his Son to die for you.

That evil dictator that won't take care of all the evil and suffering going on in this world is "PRO-HITCHENS" :)

  • @letournm what is with this attack: "evil dictator, PRO-HITCHENS", all about? Pointing the finger at others, while in the name of god, causing atrocity to humankind does not prove a point. How does this help us to understand the debate better with your 3 statements here? I believe in god myself however, using the bible dose not prove your point when it is disregarded from the lack of proof.

  • @letournm Sounds like Mr Hitchens has hit a nerve with you. Why so serious? Has he caused you to question your faith? Has he brought you fear that others may not share your faith? Really why do you care what he thinks unless you also believe the others should be forced to be restricted to your particular ideology.

  • @letournm "That's why he sent his Son to die for you."

Which Hitchens contends is in itself evil. The idea of vicarious redemption is morally bankrupt. He wrote at length about that (and other immoral aspects of the resurrection) so I don't think you are pointing out anything new to him.

  • @infinit888 It was the people who put him to death. Not God. If you extract human free will from the equation, the morally bankrupt argument is dead. Jesus forgave the fault of people, and he died with no fault. Justice was to be done, hence why he rose from the dead. Since death could not hold him, he evidently has the power to save all who call for him. Hitchens never goes into detail. He's an agnostic now because of science, and Antony Flew is christian because of science. Hitchens=confused

  • @ncastle4 "It was the people who put him to death. Not God"

Ludicrous! So are you saying god does not bear any responsibility for knowingly sending someone to his death? Further I am told that I was somehow complicit to his murder while had I been there I would have done anything to stop it. "Jesus forgave" - Immoral he can't forgive others offenses because that absolves personal responsibility.

"Hitchens never goes into detail" - Liar "He's an agnostic now because of science" - Another lie

  • @infinit888 First of all, he is. He even admitted my his own mouth in a recent vid on youtube saying that he's agnostic because science hasn't reached a point where they could prove god. Secondly, Jesus permitted himself to be put to death by the people to fulfill the law. You excuse "personal responsibilty" here? Thirdly, you say "moral" and "immoral" without proving to me what makes it so. Fourthly, saying he can't forgive you is like saying a judge can't excuse a parking ticket. That's law.

  • @ncastle4 "Antony Flew is christian because of science." - Great now you hit the trifecta of lying. Flew is not a christian. No wonder you think the crucifixion was moral your moral compass is so skewed you'd lie through your teeth just to win an argument.

  • Bob Dylan "enbracing" gospel music? Isn't he a Jew? Just put him in the same category as Kenny G and Barbara Streisand: Jews for Jesus. Wait, no, that can't be right. Then why do those who don't believe in the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior sing gospel & Christmas songs about Him? Can anyone tell me?

  • Wilson, like every other theist who comes into a debate like this, has never sorted out the "burden of proof" concept. These guys would make terrible lawyers. "The defendant has to prove his innocence, your honor!" Haha. When Hitchens shifts the burden of proof (rightfully) back to the prosecutor's side, Wilson calls it "nuancing." I love that. "I don't understand the concept you're getting at, therefore you're just playing with words to trick me!" These people get to talk on radio shows.

  • Hitchens got it wrong off the get go. Religion isn't the same as theism, which many philosophers have shown and are repeating to show. Secondly, even you took the religious essence, you read the Bible and see that the God actually endows a moral and physical responsibility on humanity from the start. Go down the wrong road, go the wrong direction. It's no wonder hitchens goes on a rampage, he's chasing smoke.

  • @ncastle4 Change the word "Bible" to "Quran" and re-read your statement and let us know if you agree with it.

  • @losghost Difference between Bible and Quran:

    1) There is no direct call to the "Christians" (which didn't exist in the old testament) to war. Because at first it was only the Jews who were God's chosen

    2) Allah is not a personal God

    3) The Qu'ran is rather direct in what it wants its followers to do, only using history as a reference to geneology. The Bible is a historical book which, with context, reveals the eventual understanding of a personal God.

Sorry, you got it wrong too.

  • @ncastle4 For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven;.... For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

    ---MATTHEW 5:18-19

    Apparently you missed that bit...

  • @ncastle4

Ask the people killed during the spanish and medieval Inquisitions if jesus is a "personal" god. Ask those killed by the crusades if jesus is a "personal" god.

Both the quran and the bible are children of the same father. Apparently you were not aware that both christians and muslims pray to the "same" god but believe in different prophets.

Typical arrogant christian answer. You people never read, you apparently already have all the answers. It's you that never got it right.

  • @ncastle4 yeah but on number three alot of their "history" is fabricated or manipulated, and while i agree is more a better text than the bible still a relic of the old world which should be put in museums.

  • @SUPPORTGOODMUSIC1003 I would tell you not to go shouting that the history is fabricated. Guys like Hitchens and Dawkins are doing this and even the atheistic community is becoming embarrassed. I would tell you to look at Gary Habermas and his research. And RZIM.org. You'd be surprised at how many people call fabrication and then recall their claims. Many people who say so don't really have the credibility or have it and eventually take back their research. Amy Orr-Ewing is a good example.

  • @ncastle4 dude like jesus going to mecca and blessing the kabul (yes it's in there) is fabricated,

  • @SUPPORTGOODMUSIC1003 Do you mind pointing this out and pointing to a historical authority that has verified this?

  • @ncastle4 no there isn't any historical authority (and it was adam sorry) what i was saying was that the koran says alot of stuff happened that probably didn't like the torah and the bible, that what fabricating history is

  • @SUPPORTGOODMUSIC1003 Well yeah, many people in academia know that the koran is rather loose on history. That's agreed. But what Hitchens does is put all religions (like putting the Bible and the Koran) in one category, when there are major differences. The problem with guys like hitchens is that they criticize one religion and think that all religions do the same. What I want to say is that the Bible has much more depth and people need to research it for themselves, because it's not fabricated.

  • @ncastle4 well yeah it is... i don't know about the apostles but jesus as a man isn't real heres why,

Horus Egypt: 800 years before Jesus, son of god Osiris, virgin mother, baptized in the river, killed and rose again

Krisna India 1000 years before christ: he was born of a virgin, a carpenter, baptized in a river, resurrected the dead,

Mithera Persia 600 years before christ: born december 25th performed miracles, rose on the thrid day after death, known as the lamb and savior of god

    see?

  • @SUPPORTGOODMUSIC1003 Great work friend - this kind of factual info causes religious people discomfort, but they usually manage to dispel it with more fairy tales...

  • @SUPPORTGOODMUSIC1003 Similarities don't disqualify Jesus at all. Horus was pure mythology (so was Mithera), and Krishna's miracles didn't serve the social, cultural, and personal purposes Jesus' did. And Apostle Paul warned the church of stories like you mentioned, and he was the most legal and precise men of the church. I'd recommend to you these sources. They'll offer more insight:

    y-jesus.com

Ravi Zacharias "Jesus Talks With Krishna"

  • @ncastle4 i gotta say they aren't similarities they are clones. The story of jesus has been told tons of times to people and jesus hasn't even lasted the longest yet. You say Horus is pure mythology but everything Horus did,

rise again to be found by women three days later, walk on water, son of a god with a virgin mother, had 12 decibels, rising aras back from the dead (which translates to lazarus) are exactly the same. So what exactly makes Horus a myth and Jesus not?

  • @SUPPORTGOODMUSIC1003 Historical documentation. Horus was a pure story. While Jesus was a true person that was documented by Jewish and Roman historians (Rome was the ruling empire of the time). Also, Jesus actually lived it to a T. On the site I posted they give just three historians that document Jesus' actual execution. Then the disciples (who were real people) document his family and ministry. I couldn't tell you more than to study the history. Check out Gary Habermas, historical Ph.D.

  • This woman is too anoying to finish listening this debate. Arg!

  • Hitch lays the smackdown, but Laura is sometimes good when religion doesn't come up...

  • God, (if there is such a thing) I much dislike Laura Ingraham...

  • Wow, she starts out being a cunt and just gets worse from there on...good thing is, Hitch wasn't fazed by her bitchiness and proceeded to give both of those idiots a Hitchslap

  • Two extremist but-heads who deserve each other.

  • "I'm an anti-theist to put it." AMAZING just to say hes against a super celestial dictator is a profound and amazing statement

  • i despise laura ingraham

  • @YaroslavSkyWalker I despise literates who cannot use proper grammar.

  • @YaroslavSkyWalker

Yeah, you're in a very, very big club. A lot to hate in that shrill, angry, stupid bimbo.

  • Though I know laura is bias. I must say shes alot more even (still biased) then on fox news,

  • theists don't think. period. their minds and faculties of reason tells them that there is no god, all they have is their emotional connection to their religion which is part of their man made culture...which has nothing to do with the origins of the universe or the natural world outside of the human realm.

  • Why bother debating with Laura Ingraham? She's a waste of time. She thinks you can get AIDS by touching a fork at a restaurant that lesbians work at.

  • Isn't she the bitch who is always throwing her Catholicism into people's faces like 10 times during every show? It's like someone bragging about being stupid.

  • Laura is the most bias and worst moderator ever.

  • "My old friend, Dinesh D'Souza" actually means "I used to fuck that idiot, so that's something else you can use as an example of my judgement."

What a stupid bitch. She is incapable of holding a civil conversation, and must resort to stupid amateurish tricks throughout the interview. Hack.

  • Boring. I thought it would be a political debate, i've seen many Religious debates with Hitchens...already know what he's gonna say.

  • @macroevolve Its like a great song tho. Sure, you know the music and the lyrics, but its still fun to hear it sung.

  • "above us......only sky" ????

    Really....

Is that how close minded people are?

you will be alright....forget the entire universe.....

    everything including me.....revolves around you......

    silly people......

  • @Pitfytr Oi mate

the religious fuck head said that "atheists believe the only thing above us is the sky...."

    How wrong.........

    so yes....."no god dickhead!"

  • @azmanabdula I think it was more of a metaphorical context. John Lennon said the same thing in his beautiful song.

  • @bigbengamer never knew that....thank you...

    still....my point stands...

  • @azmanabdula I don't disagree. Just making an analogy. I hate how people try to tell us what we think and 'believe'.

  • @bigbengamer it is ridiculous....

have you noticed religious people assume everything about peoples personalities.....

not all religious people....but hell...it is almost a stereotype.......

  • Loses all credibility when she opens by asking Hitchens "So are you an agnostic, athiest or... I always mix it up". Great research skills, honey.

  • Fuck they're game to take on Hitchens.

  • She's such a jerk. She's like "I'll try not to take a side," then she just can't help herself and starts quizzing Hitchens with all these stupid loaded questions about the big bang and other topics about which she has no reasoned scientific understanding ("some people ascribe to the big bang, and that's fine;" fine? anyone with a brain "ascribes" to it, there's a mountain of evidence supporting it). This is dumb.

  • @firstnamenavarre Shut your cock mouth faggot!! Your stupid ass comes in with a presupposition
