What I especially like about the music of Kit Watkins is that it hardly settles on a straight rhythm pattern. His songs consist of complex - and sometimes even quite long - sequences of 2's and 3's measures, which is more common to Bulgarian folk dances, rather than US American rock music. For instance, the basic pattern of this song (as far as I can comprehend it) is (3+3+2+2)+(3+3+2+2)+(3+3+2+2)+­(3+3+3) - that's why it seems to be free floating in time without constraints.

I know the music of Kit since 20jears, I have today the same amazing emotional moments as usual.

Kit's music is never boring, this is the confirm what a musician wíth a firm musical education and a decision to follow own way without half-measures, can.

It's a shame that this exeptional musician in this ferocious world not the agreement that her rewards.
