What I especially like about the music of Kit Watkins is that it hardly settles on a straight rhythm pattern. His songs consist of complex - and sometimes even quite long - sequences of 2's and 3's measures, which is more common to Bulgarian folk dances, rather than US American rock music. For instance, the basic pattern of this song (as far as I can comprehend it) is (3+3+2+2)+(3+3+2+2)+(3+3+2+2)+(3+3+3) - that's why it seems to be free floating in time without constraints.
WOW, I LOVE THIS! Great job, Kit! After only a few listenings I was helplessly compelled to buy your DVD of this concert! ;-) This song in particular makes me think you should do a collaberation with Robert Rich. hhhmmmm . . .
I've always been amazed, inspired, thilled and blown away by your music! Especially the Happy The Man stuff and Kit & Coco!
Thank you for making this world a better place to live in for so many of us!
I know the music of Kit since 20jears, I have today the same amazing emotional moments as usual.
Kit's music is never boring, this is the confirm what a musician wíth a firm musical education and a decision to follow own way without half-measures, can.
It's a shame that this exeptional musician in this ferocious world not the agreement that her rewards.
I wish you and your family a long and happy life with a lot of serenity, thank you Kit!

Thanks Kit, Since my young teenage years in the DC area I've loved your work. Incredibly your music is still if not more beautiful and uplifting than ever.
