  • Is that really Joo?!

  • Nice bunch of freaks....

  • this part of the finale for our marching show. its gonna be great!

  • what an awesome group of super cool ppl!

  • I love the guy's voice.

  • You can tell the violinist with the glasses wants in the other one's pants ;)

  • @DrCACMD lol I think you're right

  • woah, violinists, woah.

  • Cardio and fine music... I approve. :)

  • I love this damn song,..

  • It was great, but still all the enthusiasm made me giggle. :)

  • how fantastic!!! the clarinet is stupendous!!!!!!!

  • My 11 year old is using this recording to learn this and the Aquarium for the flute for her all star orchestra - it's awesome!

  • this piece is so much fun to listen to

  • SUBLIME !!

  • orgasmic.

  • tá tudo louco

  • Nah the rattling noise is probably a string technique called Col Legno, where you hit the strings with the wood of the bow x

  • I love it when musicians get so into a piece! The male violinist especially looked like he was going to jump out of his seat at any minute. It's so much better than sitting rigidly staring at the sheets with a look of death on your face.

  • Because of disney, every time I hear this I instantly thing of flamingos and yo-yos and annoying people. thanks disney -_-

  • @midnightsandwichyum THATS THE BEAUTY OF MUSIC~! LOL

  • probably burn more calories than any other musicians. XD

  • AHH janine jansen at 1st violin =)))))

  • What's the keyboardist doing? Don't hear anything significant from there.

  • @L02T i think shes making that rattling noise at 2:35

  • @Fukamikami I saw the credits. It's a celesta. Makes music box like sounds. Which raises the question... where's the rattling noise from o_o

  • @Fukamikami it might be the xylophone guy in the back making the rattling noise

  • Remember's of my old Nokia 3100 phone. with it's Carnival ringtune.

  • @connectorxp I miss it :/

  • theres a line between passionate and insane i think 1 or 2 people crossed that line, but regardless they still played an awesome show

  • I love this song as well as their expressions :D

  • To the people complaining about their movement, can you imagine playing such an amazing piece and trying to stay still? I certainly couldn't.

  • theyre going all over the place! :D (its contageous, believe me)

  • i love it

  • ist der pianist von game one?

  • @BastianiBiati hahaha, sicher der einzige der das da verstanden hat ^^

  • great!!!!!!

  • great!!!!!!

  • Too many soloists per square metre in that performance :P

  • It was quite a duel amongst the violinists! Love it!

  • I love how the violinists jump on loud noted. =D

  • that was really good. doesn't it look like the two violinists at the end were like, competing with each other? i think it was part of the act. they kept looking at each other, and accenting different parts, and 1 time the guy stood up on an accent and then like, looked at the girl or something. idk, that's what i think, but it was really good

  • they are ALL friends ^^ playing there with musical friends is their joy

  • @pug4pres THERE SUPPOSED TO LOOK AT EACH OTHER.. if you played an instrument you would know...

  • @A2Afan15 umm, yea, i knew they were but i just thot it was kinda funny. And I do play an instrument(s) and that has nothing to do with anything. I play the recorder,(which kinda doesn't count but I can play 2chromatic octavesplus a note, more than the 7 notes in primary school) and I play the piano and violin. so yea...

  • That was AWESOME!!!

  • Looked like they had fun doing that! lol

  • call them whatever you what, but im really glad that they enjoy their music as much i as do..... its just too good who wouldnt react

  • Where is this from - it's awesome. I mean the event not the music.

  • I think the hairwaving female violinist is Janine Jansen, right? Her right shoulder looks strange, i hope i doesn't hurt after a while

  • It's so good to see them really having fun.

  • the violin on the end looks sycho

  • She reminds me of the hairography episode from Glee! Except, of course, she is playing brilliantly. ;)

  • Looks like they all had great fun playing this finale ! Bravo

  • One of the most wonderfull songs in the world!!

  • Awesome!!!

  • Worried at 1:40!

    Luv this, thanx!

  • AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.

  • OMG so fun to watch. It feels as if the 2 violinists are competing against each other. Awesome

  • ... O.o i can only say: Thank you so damn much for the uploads! YOu're beyond genius xxx <3

  • oh i'm so dead. I'm so supposed to play this for my end-of-year concert on piano! i never thought it would be so fast! This is an amazing performance!

  • Oh my God....my school's Marching Band is playing this.

  • I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

    lol mine is too,

  • wow, i LOVE how passionate they are :D

  • The first violinist looks like she's having so much fun! I wish I could play like that ... the glissando looked awesome!! :)

  • i gotta say i have always loved this piece. i envy any who can play it.

  • I watched this live the other day when it was performed in Adelaide, for come out day and its a whole new experience being right infront of an orchestra rather then them on the internet. still great though!

  • The music is good, but I just can't help looking at their cute faces.

  • Hey, as long as the music sounds good I don't care what goofy faces they make!

  • if the orchestra weren't moving we'd all be saying it was lacklustre. People complain, end of! I however loved all that movement :D

  • aweonao culiao : D

  • j'adore c'est trop bien : )

  • I hate that one female violinist. She tosses her hair and it gets annoying. I realize she is just very good and is getting into the peice but it's starting to bother me. Sorry. But she did do a great job-along wit the rest~ <3 <3 <3

  • oh shut up. i'm sick of commentators on youtube getting on people's cases for being passionate while playing music.

  • @sean4730 It's equally funny when you consider no one takes a second look when this happens with musicians in other genres

  • @sean4730 whats the point in playing music then...

  • @sean4730 Those commentators have time to notice due to their lack of passion for something.

  • Granted, it is a bit distracting, but I she *is* being passionate, after all. That's the difference between watching professionals and some mediocre orchestra.

  • haha i thought what she was doing was a bit odd and distracting but she is really enjoying the music lol.

  • HI There

where can i buy this on dvd?

  • the song is in Fantasia 2000

  • They all seem to enjoy themselves immensely- it's wonderful, the atmosphere is breathtaking! Wonderful interpretation! Thank you for posting!

  • You can see this in how the other musicians often look towards her during the performance. She is guiding them.

  • The nodding by the lead violinist is a way of conducting the rest of the group , it's her job as the first violin, but obviously has no hands free.

  • was all of the head jerking on the violinist's part nessessary? i pretty sure she lost a couple brain cells from her brain bonking against her skull each time she shook her head!

  • yeah, but she looks better than rachlin (the other violinist) staring at her all the time like some sick retard or pedophile, except shes not a child, but i think u get what i mean....

  • Im pretty sure you don't play an Instrument based on your last post. When you play chamber music you have to watch the other players. hence the looking. Rachlin is playing second violin, so he is watching Jansen for cues and what not.

  • I do play an instrument, but this does not have anything to do with this. Of course, you have to watch the principal player, but it doesnt really look like he's looking at her that way. Anyways, they were in a relationship at that point, so that might be why.

  • I agree! Feeling the music is something else. You have to show that u feel the music in another way..not by shaking ur body like a psycho...

  • Bodily and physical emotions do not matter when it comes to producing the sound of the music.

If one can only focus on the movements of the performer, rather than the music that they are performing, then they obviously shouldn't be criticing any music piece at all, now should they?

Even though everyone hears the same song, it's how each individual percieves it that makes the difference, and it is how they percieve it which determines their emotions; physically and mentally.

  • amaaaazing, love it :)

  • great

  • What great vids! Thanks for posting these!

  • 1:13

  • so what?

  • Just noting where the musicians begin actually playing. For my own reference more than anyone else's.

  • ANY GUYS UP?

hi anyone want to chat CB

  • the guy on the piano looks like the guy from "Little Nightmare Music"

    is it?

  • YES IT IS! :)

  • They are psychotic-looking...I love it!

I wish we had as much enthusiasm. :D

I wish I could see them live...

  • i love this!

  • music from Carnival of animals remind me of Runescape and Harry Potter. haha

  • I love Richard Joo! He's hilarious ^_^

  • that was AWESOME! :D

  • Whenever we play this in our uni orchestra our conductor tells us to play it 'psychotically happy' - these guys sure have mastered that!

  • They're all insane...but it sounded great.

  • AWESOME!!! Love it.

  • nvr seen any lyk it...

  • I believe the orchestra is have the most fun anyone has ever had!

  • They do look like they're having a blast don't they!

  • This must be pure bliss to play. Lovely performance.

  • Bravo!

  • is the first violinist janine janson?

  • Yes

  • Brilliant ! I love how into it the violins and violas got. I'm a violinist and how I miss playing in a group like this ! This chamber group has synergy. :-D

  • i love this they are so into their music

    its a joy to see

  • Reading the credits: Whats a celestia. I've never heard of it. Is it like a flute or piccolo or something like that?

  • a celestia is basically a piano higher in tone

we have one in my orchestra

  • Think of a xylophone stuck into the body of a piano and struck with hammers (operated by keys, just like a piano) instead of sticks.

  • Congrats at discovering the celesta.

  • I would think the staccato would get to everyone after a while. Even for the masters like this. I know I would

  • in 2.20 is the clarinet trilling? it doesn't seem like he's trilling and we can ear some kind of clarinet trilling.....

    >:

  • I thinks so, but its weird I know, It looks like he's playing something different with the fingering of the clarinet.

  • 2:220 looks similar to 2:55

  • I love this piece. Simply love it.

  • oh and the clarinet person blows, the face is red.. BEET RED! O: and at 1:20 the violinists shake there head like 1:50

  • btw, at 1:51-52 or so, the violinist with the glasses ( male) keeps bouncing. lol i luv these musical vids!!

  • lmao this is probably the funniest musical vids! i mean, i agree with sectusempra777 how the violinists look like they're crazy at 1:50 and how the pianist ook in pain! xD

  • this looks fun!

  • i love the clarinetist's tone and clarity

  • Violinists look CRAZY when they're playing at 1:50

  • The male pianist is Joo from Igudesman&Joo :D Hes great

  • The male pianist looks like he's in PAIN!!!!

  • this is great!!!!! Does anyone know where I can find the text that Moore is reading??? I need it for a project!!!

  • Listen to it and write it down!

  • I don't get wut ur trying to say man.

  • I'm answering laudelo

  • U still don't make sense man.

  • Look in the WIKIPEDIA article CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS; it mentions several authors who have written verse to accompany this music. Don't look for Ogden Nash; I have a performance with the verses of Nash, and the verses here are not those of Nash.

  • It's Bond, James Bond!

  • I noticed that in the finale they mixed the animal pieces up:D.

  • They look like they're having so much fun, and that shows in the music! Excellent!

  • i love their energy!!!!!

    it was totally awesome!!!!!!

i wish my orchestra was that enthusiastic!

  • mine too!

  • I wish so too!

  • Don't you think that the male pianist looks like he's in pain? and also the violinist look like they need to go to psych ward at 1:50

  • i agree its kinda funny

  • Not at all. That's their way of performing and how they express their music. Don't criticise them for it.

  • What's the note at 2:12... Seems the 1st violinist was surprisesd by that note

  • amazing :D

  • Richard Hyung Ki Joo ---> awesome pianist

  • HAHAHA i love saint saens

  • Ya emilovius, its not just you i can see that the flautist was wearing different gauns as well. If you look around its not all the same people from the zoom ins and zoom outs. Maybe the filming was done at different times or places?

  • It seems that someone edited the film part.

The flautist really seems to wear two different gauns. Very strange.

Yes, of course, it was filmmed in Dubrovnik.

  • who is the violonist girl?

  • jenny jansen world famous duch violinist, i love her energetic performance.

  • that was fuckin' siiiiiiiiiiiiick

  • Ils ont l'air de s'éclater

  • What an energetic performance!

  • i heard this song in school today. It was a concert it was cool

  • I love this video because they all seem to be having such fun... but has anyone else noticed that the flautist is wearing a different outfit in the long shots?

  • that was amazing!

  • I think they play this really well. The intensity they play with is great. Sir Roger Moore is so annoying. IN A GRAND ORE-CHE-STRAHL PAHHHHH-TEE. Zzz.

  • i played this in my school orchestra, i loved playing it, so much fun!

  • I love Joo!!!

  • Good!

  • yeah that was joo on the piano^^

  • Isn't it the famous Psychiatric Hospital Orchestra??? I'm jocking. I love their faces expression, and their interpretation is quasi-perfect. Brava! Brava! Congratulations! I love it!

  • they seem all mad

  • lol great lol they are sooooo dramatic. im playing this for my school orchestra. now just imagine her hair was like2x long..... think what would have happened XD great ^^

  • I just love the fact the James Bond (Roger Moore) is narrating this.

  • james bond is sean connery i thought.

  • Multiple actors have portrayed him, Roger Moore being the third.
