I can't believe how well she used to get around!!! You couldn't even tell she didn't have legs! Sorry for your loss, I'm sure you miss her dearly as she had wonderful temper when you picked her up!! I just adopted my hedgie from someone who had him for two years, all he does is curl up and hiss, I'm trying to handle him a lot and get him acclimated to me! Hedgies are precious!!!
Omg I love this little hedgie! Soooo cute. I just saw ur first vid of her and was madly looking for this one. You must be an amazing owner because she is turning out very well. May I make a suggestion though? In the baby vid where she was still a baby you could see her back legs they were inside if her. Since her skin was still a bit transparent u could c them. The vet may be able to make a small cut so she can squeeze her legs out and then sew the skin back properly. Will you plz try taking he
What a pretty hedgehog! You would never know she didn't have back legs. My Quinn is much like krasusboy's! I wouldn't know if she had back legs or not, she's always curled up in a tight ball popping and hissing! I'm so glad you were blessed with her. A pet store may have made a very different decision when faced with a needy hedgie!
That thing should have a big 6-pack:) You can feel bad for it but you dont need to because it still has feelings... so sad it was born with a disabilitie :( good owners like that make me so happy! Love the poor litttle thing!
It seemed to me in the first video, and now even more that she actually has some kind of back legs under her skin. (so maybe only tiny crippled or something) because she's moving not only her hips, but something more under her skin. did you went for a doctor and do an x-ray scan ?
I got my hedgehog from this breeder and he is just great! You can tell she handles them a lot because it only took a couple of days for him to be comfortable around me.
It's so nice to see a deformed animal still go about its life with hardly any complications. From up above you would never think that there was anything wrong with her. She is so cute. Such a beautiful hedgie!
Did you ever have a vet check her, it appears her legs are there just inside her body. You can even see her walking on them through her skin! What is the deal with that. I read lots of comments on the first video about that but you never commented.
She seems to really like you for you to pick it up like that. Like my cat, I can pick her up however I want and she doesn't care lol. Very good to see she is doing well.
what a beautiful little hedgie girl! And, like so many animals born with a missing part, they don't seem to miss what they never had...they just figure it out, and go on from there. You go, Beine!
What a wonderful adjustment this baby has made! She is absolutely gorgeous, and it makes my day to see her so healthy and successful an adult! Kudos to her human keepers -- I'll bet she has you wrapped around her little paw, like my hedgie does me! Thanks for sharing this video!
And just look at her now. All grown up and healthy, uncaring of the fact that she has no back legs. Well done to all of you, Beine for her strong little spirit, and you for not giving up on her and raising her to be the beautiful, happy hedgie that she so clearly is.
Does she run on a wheel like a normal hedgie would? Is there some other way you help to exercise her?
I applaud you for your well socialized babies! I just recently got a rescue hedgie, and she is very shut down emotionally. We've named her popcorn because of the noise they make when they are upset---she does it alot. Can't even hold her yet, but she's slowly getting better.
I want a two legged hedgie. Looks like she gets around no problem, and fast. Were did you get yours my girlfriend and I are interested in purchasing one.
I'm so happy to hear that she is doing so well!! I really can't count the times I've thought about this cutie-pie and wondered what happened to her. Thank you so much for the update. :D
I meant you couldn't tell that she didn't have her BACK legs, I realize she had the front ones, idk why I wrote that like that.
