This is a great action scene! The Capoiera guy is very agile and strong. The Muay Thai guy is an excellent all around fighter who fights "fire" with "fire". In other words, he decides to fight Capoeira style with Capoeira style at the end. He knows his enemy well. I am very much impressed with Capoeira.
I think this is the coolest fight scene ever. Capoeira, which is all about flowing form and "style" vs. Muay Thai, the epitome of economy and power. Two wildly different styles, but both devastating in the right hands.
Rest of the movie sucked =P. Totally worth it for the fight scenes, though.
Capoeria is a powerful style. As clearly seen here, anyone who's willing to take the time to master it can become an intense fighter. It's a staged fight I know, but the moves are real. I have a deep respect for Capoeira, as should everyone.
@jorgebeltran Really because suprise suprise look in the damn CREDITS.
Also why is it credited to him on his actual stunt work listed, he's also listed in Tekken, I've watched the guy in fan films and such for YEARS, at least since 1999.
So how goes it keyboard warrior, still wanna call bullshit, better learn to use google punk.
@MrDontStareitsrude Like I stated...to each their own.I don't have to prove anything nor do I have the right to change your opinion.I only hope you can be a little more open minded about things you so frivolously dismissed as "Shit" :)Respect and Axé to all practitioners:)
Capoeira is a Martial art but its supposed to look like a dance but to each their own... Remember what Bruce lee said... When you insult a martial art a practitioner of that art will defeat you... or something like that
@Unjesue I agree totally... but... Capoeira is not a martial art... is like box or kick boxing, don´t have philosophy or things like that. But I totaly respect capoeira!
Bruce lee wasn't that good he was an actor first and foremost and never really fought in real fights I wouldn't listen to a deadmans words cus there non existent i'm insulting and degrading Capoeira doesn't mean that the practitioner of the art will defeat me if you believe that then you will get nowhere
@MrDontstareitsrude Huh Bruce lee was first and foremost a martial artist, he escaped to america after getting in trouble with gangs or something like that..he fought alot of street fight, defeated a black belt in karate and more...cehck him out...and also have you ever heard of jeet kune do..and he was good...he even knew the one inch punch, created a "new" martial arts and he also trained chuck norris <---and that's gonna amount to something
@MrDontstareitsrude his fights are not well documented and its impossible to seperate fact and fiction, burt waht i gathered is that it seemed he didn't participate in tournaments to much ecept for one boxing championship in 1958.He also had a fight with Wong Jack Man, a practitioner of Northern Shaolin Kung fu about bruce lee teaching white people martial art.
Shame he died so young. There's a vid on here about frank dux well people talking about frank and how bruce wanted to know who this 6ft1 guy who was as fast as him.
Don't know whether to believe it or not but i'm not too keen on frank dux people say that those KO's and records of the kumite were bullshit but that's another bit of history i'll never know if its real or fake.
@MrDontstareitsrude thanks l'l check it out...and it\s nice finding ppl on the internet who don't just reply with words like F U and mama jokes to get their argument forward
@greiver179 also even Dana White recognize bruce lee as the father of ufc..and about takamatsu sensei..it's impossible to compare a fighter with one and each other..and it's stupid to try...But you seem like, you like bruce lee too, so is it really hrad to believe he was a martial artist before an actor?
@MrDontstareitsrude I could spent minutes tearing your oblivious argumentation apart, but instead I invite you to read Bruce Lee's Wiki page. I think it contradicts all you say above.

@greiver179
Jeet Kune Do the way of the intercepting fist.
Yes I have heard of it.
All I am saying is that Bruce Lee was mostly an actor. How many fights did he have in his life?
Yes he was excellent at practacing gung fu and wing chun but he never fought tough fighters.
His fitness was the greatest out of all and the things he could do were and still are legendary.
But as a fighter who did he fight? That's my only argument with him. Takamatsu Sensei would of busted him up.
