Some countries/cities may invest in new innovative concepts.. if they can, do it, because the rest of the world is watching. Does anyone know how expensive big infrastructure projects like monorails and metros are and how much time it takes to build them? we're talking about public submissions, planning consents and big disruptions/detours to traffic for months or even years in the case of monorail. This solution only requires a bit of work done on the road and a few platforms.
With regards to turning the traffic lights will be phased to allow buses go first, so they will be long gone when the lights go green.

It is estimated that building a metro of 40km will take at least 3 years, as straddling bus just 1 year and after the technics are being mature this will become shorter

You're right. The import/value of semi conductors is great. But that tech is actually getting old now.. it's actually slowing down progress. If you take out NASA, you won't take out that market. NASA does niffty science experiments, but shares a small percentage of the true R&D that occurs in the industry. Some countries/cities may invest in new innovative concepts.. if they can, do it, because the rest of the world is watching. From a practical perspective, they should implement HOV lanes just like every other country/city as its cheaper to implement and has the best ROI in the short term.

nice idea. But, it would be a huge presumption that the Chinese will actually care about the flashing red light under the bus and wait for the bus to finish turning. Although a little better in the more modern cities like BeiJing and ShangHai, people don't typically follow traffic rules. I can see this bus being stuck in traffic like every other bus.

so all the cars under it should stop until the bus finish the turning safely.

With regards to turning the traffic lights will be phased to allow buses go first, so they will be long gone when the lights go green.

@Avantime Actually they save money since your build light ways or metros in Beijing, but this innovation just need to build a special bus and draw somes tracks on the ground. It is estimated that building a metro of 40km will take at least 3 years, as straddling bus just 1 year and after the technics are being mature this will become shorter
