Hey Shoemoney...Anthony here. I currently have a 2 1/2 year old BB that I will most likely be phasing out for the new Droid Razr, & want to know if my existing .mp3 ringtones from the BB will work on the Razr? If not, do I have to go specifically to a Droid ringtone download site to download new ones? I would hate to lose all the great ringtones that I have for the BB (Rush tunes, Metallica tunes,Halloween, Munsters, Sanford & Son themes, MNF, etc.).

This didn't work for me. But I was able to download a ringtones app that showed up as a folder on the phone (in the place where you make the ringtones folder) and so I put my MP3s the MP3 section of the folder and it showed up in my music player, so I took it from there and set it as my ringtone. easy as that.

Thanks a bunch, PC guys what you are gonna want to do is go back to the pull down bar for the Phone and hit the "Turn off USB storage" wait for the SD card to stop "Preparing" and then disconnect, easy as that. The folder should be made in the Audio folder. so click Audio then make the folder and drop it in there, it worked for me

thanks so much. If you want to use the same tones for text message notifications, on a mac, create another folder called notifications, then option-drag the ringtones (that drags a copy) to the new folder and they will be available as notification tones as well!

@Irishheart33 yes you can, log on into ur VZW account (make one if you dont takes about 2 mins or less) and go to media, you will see an option for Ringback Tones click on it and pic the one you want. It is 1.99$ for a ringback (lasts for one year) and .99$ p/month for it to be played (: hope it helped (:
