hey ethos, I developed a redstone circuit that only allows only one output to be active and that shuts off all other outputs when a new input is pressed. I used it for my 8 destination mine cart station but I had to do a bunch of delays in one spot to make it work. however, if you want to make a play controlled sorting machine with 3 possible inputs, one for each mob, that would probably be more responsive. you could also have one lever per junction to toggle between doors.

A dark trap never works as well at night. Mob spawn bleeds off to the surface unless the sun's up to keep them down in your spawning chambers.
