  • found one a month back here in south tx for the first time , i have since killed about 20 of them not sure how to stop the spread!

o ya and lol next time use a strong bug spray and they will go down in a second , and you wont get bit.

  • i hear ya but it makes a better vid if i jump around a bit .... and by the way they breed like crazy .... each one of those spikey egg sacs put out 300+ and they always have a lot of sacs .... they are everywhere in florida and they don't hide .... they nest under any edge or garbage can handle .... so look before you grab

  • its about time. bloody hate spiders

  • those things are lightning fast in their webs. I tried to catch one in a bottle and it nearly got me. My office building in St. Petersburg has them all over it. Brown widows have a distinctive spikey egg sack. Twice as venomous as a black widow, but not nearly as aggressive. Plus they inject a minute amount of venom.
