The French model seems intentionally deceiving because it depicts concentrations scaled to the ratio of the maximum level at the time. So as the radiation disipates the model makes it look like concentrations are increasing, but the opposite is true.

Another thing I find very odd is that the MSDS for XE-133 is extremely vague and lacking in data or studies. This is NOT NORMAL. I was a Lab Manager and the OSHA and federal regs are usually very explicit when it comes to chemical properties but this MSDS sheet basically states WE DON:T KNOW WHAT IT DOES! How did they ever get this by??? Obviously it was too serious a substance to conduct any testing on any guinea pig subjects to get any data!!

i can only speak from my own observations. I am a Med Lab Tech so I notice things that deviate from the norm. I got moderate burning in my eyes. I had to go buy some Murine drops. Why does the French site - showing a CS 137 plume cascading around the world - not match up with the NILU link - where the CS 137 plume is almost non-existent? NILU link shows both the iodine and cesium plumes to be miniscule ,they mostly dissipate prior to reaching North American land. Also wondering why the NILU site show the xenon 133 plume dispersing across America - yet it doesn't seem to dissipate in relation to the xenon 133 half-life of only 5.2 days. 5 days cross the ocean =half that

I live in Boise Idaho and we have had this fallout over the past couple of days intermittently. The weather will change dramatically. We have had hail twice with 50 degree weather outside! Xe-133 is a fission decay product that should remain contained withing the fuel cladding, if it is being released in large quantities I believe that we can assume a meltdown with ongoing fission of the fuel. Xe-133 is a short lived beta emitter, you should be wearing eye protection if a cloud of it passes over you. I don't think that a regular radiation detector will pick up this radioisotope, you will probably need one with a beta detector window. It is hard for me to remember these things.
