  • 15 people are eaten by a suchomimus

    ;D

  • no one kills spino

  • I have red in several Dinosaur Encyclopedias that the Tyranno was rly a scavenger... The paleontologyst says that even his strong bite, T-Rex wasn't one of the fastest dinosaurs, so it's been hard for him to catch-a-living animal ...

  • all animals are scavengers in there own way you know that

  • YOU CAN TELL BY THE SKULL AND THE BACK SOME OF THEM ARE FEMALES AND NOT THAT MUCH ARE MALES YOU CAN TELL BY THE SPIN

  • THERE SPINOSAURUS

  • no offence to any rex fans but I think spino is a really cool dinosaur to

  • @pokesaurus12 U know that article in the description on how t-rex has been blown out of perportion by the public? Spino got its spot in fame BECAUSE of a movie. Plus, u dont even know how big it really was! 7 bones and a few fragments is not going to tell u how big it was. T-rex was both a Predator and a Scavenger, almost every carnivore is. Besides, idc HOW strong sucho's arms are, T-rex's Bite woulf Crush anything short of an ankylosaurus.

  • One thing You Rex fans seem to ignore. If Spinosaurus was only meant to eat fish, then what factor would make Spinosaurus to evolve to such a size. I mean there were plenty of small fish am I right. So honestly, if It only ate fish, it wouldn't have grown so tall and long in the first place.

  • there should be a trilogy on The Discovery Channel about the spinosaurids. episode 1 would focus on a young male baryonyx living on his own and struggling to keep a new territory. episode 2 would be focusing about a female suchomimus raising her chicks and dealing with other carnivores as well as sarcosuchus. episode 3 would have a spinosaurus! an old male spino would deal with losing his turf to a younger male and forced to find a new one... will he survive!? i think its a good idea

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe the fish affected its brain and strength somehow .... * wink *

  • oh and by the way 0:43 is baryonyx and 2:17 is spinosaurus

  • suchomimus is like a baryonyx on steroids

  • I love the tone of the quoted article. "America's imperialist dino-culturalism" is one of the funniest phrases of the decade. The fact that informed people can still commit such a flagrant fundamental attribution error has always amazed me. Tell me, what important work were Paleontologists in the Republic of Niger doing in 1905? Oh, that's right, they were busy being colonially occupied by the French. That's certainly America's fault. Why do people insist on connecting unrelated concepts?

  • emo music.......AWESOME!!!!!!

  • it looks like a mix between baryonyx and spinosaurus

    still a beatly looking dinosaur

  • @gir180sx *beastly

  • hello its me giffen 13!!!! now i have to say something that not is so important! suchomimus ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love all kind of dinosaurs this one is amazing :3

but my favorite one is spinnosaurus and parasaurolophus <3

  • Why does every dinosaur tribute video have contemporary rock instead of something that actually sets a relevant mood?

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire do you say that on every dinosaur tribute video ...dude you could just make your own.........put jazz or rap or whatever you want.on yours...but.the dino fans love rock and you just gotta deal with it

  • @MareyaMax Actually, I already have ( watch?v=EOcVQsvWcVw ). It was an honest effort to match each song with the mood, and synchronize the music with the events in the video.

  • All Spinosaurs had sails.

  • Looks a lot like a Spinosaurus without a sail.

  • why suchomimus and not Baryonix?

  • parece como un spinosaurus y un baryonyx

  • 1:31 ew

  • I'm in favor of the hypothesis that spinosaurs and their relatives are partially aquatic. Their body design makes a lot more sense if they're in the water. Their mouths also look ideal for catching fish.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the only bipedal carnivorous dinosaur which is significantly larger than the tyranosauroids has a body design that looks so alien to them.

I could be wrong, but I would be surprised.

Hopefully we'll find more spinosaurs some day.

  • yeah, its a real shame that we bombed the first remains ever found when we started bombing germany back in WWII. sigh...

  • LOL it looks like baryonyx

  • its rudy in ice age 3

  • ooooooooo i love this dinosaur it's my favorite. Tyrannosaurus Rex,Velociraptor Mongoliensis and Brachiosaurus are the best dinosaurs that i ever saw

  • right is this an evolded baronyx?

  • i think first it was this then baryonax or this first o rthen barniyax but after these 2 is spinosaurus i think srry if i spelled barniyax bad or my spellin is bad XDD

  • Yes, it is.

  • ummmmm oh jees i forgot...

they is a herbivore that had 10 ft arms and 20 ft claws atached on them i thinkg the dino woz therinozsuarus or something :S

  • 1:41 can someone say me the name of this web

  • CCCOOOLLLL''''''''''''''''''''''

  • I say t-rex owns

  • Suchomimus:they freakin rule so much they should have there own movie

  • @yugipokegodzillasaur wat about ice age 3

    1 appeared as "Rudy"

  • @matanuialive2010 actualy rudy was a albino baryonyx

  • dude u r srupid its ug;y not cool

  • in truth neither spino or t rex lived at the same time also spinosaurus ate ish also as both predators are so big neither would really fight jp3 went abit over the top ad their would be alot more sizing up/ avoiding conflict if possible and the t rex's bite at the start of the fight would have killed the spio easily so jp3 let every one dow in that opinion.

  • what is that for a creature at 0:21 a giant crocodile or what?

  • it wAs a sarchosuchas a phytosaur

  • Yep, that's sarcosuchus imperator a giant crocodile, which probably killed the ocassional dinosaur.

  • asome video man, and wat is the name of that song.

  • That Paul Sereno at 1:59. Should have known he'd been the one who found it. He likes digging for Gondwana dinosaurs.

  • it seems the more ancient species are, the more brutal they look........

  • t-rex was not a scavenger, it was an opertunist as every other carnivore that ever lived was, if it had a chance to steal another dinosaurs prey it would but it also hunted and its jaws were so powerful that it didnt need arms like some other dinosaurs *hint hint*

  • Thank GOD somebody else who isn't an utter and complete moron.

  • The "unwitting peoples of the world" are those who take this diatribe seriously. It's no American conspiracy that has left American dinosaurs foremost in the public imagination. They came to the forefront when dinosaurs were news the public took interest in and, as such, have lodged in the public conscious. Now, with other world/scientific developments, people don't take as much interest in recent dinosaur discoveries so they haven't really become well-known. But there's time yet ...

  • I completely and utterly disagree with the description about the nature of the T rex, but the video is awesome great song dino pair!

  • The in-curving teeth are an indication that whatever this magnificent creature ate was alive and struggling. Scavanging may be part of all predator survival strategies . Thanks for posting this beautiful tribute to a non-North American dinosaur.

  • wow..... this is so retarted...... why not do somthing productive? and the emo song makes it so clear that you want to be cool..... dude im sorry but this makes it so obvious you dont get out much....

  • dude could you stop harshing the good old USA USA USA LET ME HEAR IT PEOPLE USA USA !!!!!!but com'on don't be racist and bash T-Rex because he's a proud American

  • 1.56. Paul Sereno? That's the MAN when it comes to Sahara Dinosaurs

  • i always thought suchomimus and baryonyx were the same ^^ (they do look alike)

  • they belong to the same family, the spinosaur one. some paleontologists have proposed that these two animals are the same genus, different species, but its not official.

  • Stop Bashing The Big T

  • is a legend, but is not SO awesome, I'm still thinking that Giganotosaurus or even Megaraptor would be a interesting match

  • suchomimus is my favorite dinosaur.

  • o cool it is on it????

  • oops imean 1:18

  • 1:35 is like 0:16

  • dude i love suchomimus its also on the new nintendo game battle of giants dinosaurs

  • Where did you get the picture from 1:43? I use to look at that type of art of dinosaurs on Yahoo but then it disappeared now I cant find it:(. If you can, can you please help me find out? The Artworks really good.

  • 40 percent of my favourite dinosaurs are spinosaurs and tyrannosaurs

  • the spinosaur family were fish eaters they waold probabvly flee from the t-rex

  • Definatly, their jaws weren't strong enough for dino hunting, the only thing they could do is scavange

  • Well they were atleast more adapted for killing than Spinos..

maybe they hunted small animals ?

Anyway rex is my fav dino, and im english so you cant ay its becoz of its western origin...

  • *i mean england english.

  • 0: 18 he's as good as dead.

  • Yep, Deinosuchus for the win.

  • Sarchosuchus.

  • ?????????I have no idea why you sent me this comment

  • Imagine if a t-rex met a suchomimus, if they met in suchos habitat sucho would have the advantage, but if they met in the woodland t-rex would have the advantage

    Does that settle it

  • A pretty cool guy.

  • Um, T-Rex was probably both hunter and scavenger (though running was either a gamble or simply a physiological paradox). Hyenas hunt and lions scavenge...sometimes. Personally I like all theropods, and I think sucho and spino hunted fish primarily, sooo T-rex probably had a FAR stronger bite force. I mean seriously what kind of biological matter can withstand 10,000 pounds of pressure per square inch?

  • you know what? I don't need a source to prove T-rex was a scavenger: I WAS THERE! 653 million B.C.! QWHURT!

  • Yeah but those "velociraptors" were the North American deinonychus!

  • I'd like to see your source that claims that Tyrannosaurus Rex is a scavenger.

  • Look, I just copied and pasted the article, I'm not saying that Rex was a scavenger.

Let me ask you - why do Rex fans get so uptight when they hear that people think it was a scavenger? That's not necessarily true, but why not accept the dinosaur as it is? It's still a cool animal. Doesn't really matter exactly how it behaved.

  • I don't get uptight, I am not a Tyrannosaurus Rex fan. However, no ecosystem has a pure scavenger, especially one of that size (Hyenas are quite adept hunters, and at the very least vultures are the murderers of baby animals), so I have a very difficult time believing the tales of Tyrannosaurus being a scavenger without some solid proof.

  • If anything, the Rex was an opportunistic eater. Meaning it hunted and killed for itself, but if it saw the chance to steal food from some smaller bitchass dino, it'd do it. All predators do that from time to time. Besides, who'd say no to a gaping 4 and a half foot long jaw full of 6 inch long teeth with a bite force of over 3000lbs per square inch. Yeah pretty sure I'd say "OK big guy here ya go! BON APETITE!"

  • Absolutely! When you're that big, what on earth is stopping you from just making mincemeat out of anything standing between you and easy food! I'm just saying it's hard to say it was ONLY a scavenger.

  • exactly

  • Yea you are right. But lots of people forget that most predators are opportunistic eaters. If the dino only eats meat, why would it turn down a free meal with far less risk to itself than hunting a meal? It wouldn't. Oh yeah, and that guy did screw up JP3...Maybe Spino would have won anyway, but I'm willing to bet it wasn't smart enough to snap the rex's neck on purpose. I liked the raptors from jp3 as well, but they should have based them off another raptor, or made them the right size.

  • No T-Rex had won his jaw was strong enough to bit a small car in half(No Joke) and in the movie he bit the Spino in the Neck and smash it through trees and on the ground and the spino was a Fish eater(Not 100% but he was one thats why he have this crocadiel mouth) so Spino had no chance and King Kong didint stand a chance to.

  • I agree with ya

the neck brake thing didnt work, the fight should had been longer anyway lol

and ya thinking of deinonichus for the raptor size, but yano wt movies are like, they want everything to be different, but hey i prefere 6ft velociraptors, instead of 8inch raptors,

  • and T-rex had deadly bacteria in it's teeth, so once bitten, the dinosaur would die later on from a deadly disease.

  • velociraptor was not 8 inchs it was something like 3 feet long buit i still see your point

  • Right no predator only kills thats a lie and palothology studie for years and dont realize that. XD

  • Yeah its crazy right? Watch any predator for long enough and you will see it scavenge something. Now that you mention it T-rex did bite down on the spino's neck. Seems like that should have broken the Spino's neck straight away or at least did some heavy damage with those banana sized teeth. Its hollywood though, and from what I understand they wanted a new "main" dino for JP3. I guess to them and that paleontologist working with JP3 size = better. The lost world was way better anyway XD

  • Thx i guess sience only want to say:We proved you wrong hahah!

  • @Tyrannotitan Actually, it's been determined that the T-Rex was more likely an opportunistic apex predator, and it was certainly not a dedicated scavenger.

Also, it's quite likely that the speculating scientists you mentioned were on some sort of mind-altering drug. A meeting between T-Rex and Suchomimus, were it even possible, would have ended rather badly... for the Suchomimus. Either an infected bite wound or a bone-crushing bite to the neck and it would be game over for your dinosaur.

  • i love suchomimus their my fave

  • hey tyrannation not all of the dinosaurs are famed because they are american dinosaurs. Look at velicoraptor, which are found in the monglian desert. Its all because of the movies like jurrasic park, which in-accurately depicte these animals as vicous hunting monsters.

  • Allosaurus is my favorite.

  • suchomimus and spino are awesome.but for me t rex and giga are the best

  • suchomimus was big, but it's cousin (spinosaurus) was bigger.

  • At 2:55, that is a spinosaurus I think

  • are galliMIMUS and suchoMIMUS related?

  • No, They just have similar names.

  • sucho's my fave. What's the name of the song?

  • coooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I didnt see the name of the song. What was it.

  • Check again, it's in there.

  • thanks

  • the article is referencing something from 1905! T. Rex has come along way since, and debate over behaviour is unsettled. There's strong reverse bias here. Good evidence exists that Spinosaurids were nothing more than fish-eaters if you wanna get technical about it, while large Tyrannosaurids could bite through bone. "Greatest of the giant lizards" is a useless statement wherever its assigned. They're all cool, and extinct reptiles should not be scapegoats for cultural criticism in any case.

  • the song was cool this dino looked crazy

  • I'll be honest with you dude....most top predators are also known scavengers. Fact is its alot easier to get a free meal than to hunt one down. Saying one apex predator is a scavenger and one isn't is pretty stupid regardless of how the dinos were built. Sounds like whoever wrote that listened to that guy that gave the dino advice for JP3 a little too much.

Besides that dumbass article, you made a good video. Song is iffy, but a solid collection of images.

  • HOLY SHIT!! I WANA PUNCH THAT GUY IN THE TAINT FOR THAT BULLSHIT!! THAT MOVIE SUCKED MUCHO ASS BECUZ OF HIM! (that and the director was a moron) That movie coulda been SOOO much better...damn it Spielberg get back in the saddle dude.

  • And while we're talking about those movies. I loved JP 1 but it could have been so much better if Dilophosaurus was life size. That thing was 20 ft long and likely ate prosauropods for breakfast. (I was fine with the venom glands, thats entertainment) A half ton killing machine with venom spray BITCH!!!!!!!!

  • Suco is soooo owned at :22

  • Suchimimus is part of the spinosaur family but yet is closest relitive is I think barynox

  • about the descrition + i like the video to bad its not rock music

  • omfg that is crap i agree with u Tyrannotitan

  • At :17 What croc is that, its not a Sarcosuchus, jaw is too wide. I used to have a book that had that same pic, and it said it was a 98ft seagoing crocodile.

  • Deinosuchus, I think.

  • Deinosuchus didn't live in africa, i belive it's Sarcosuchus to.

  • I don't think there is a 98 foot sea going crocodile, but I believe it might actually be a Stomatosuchus inermis, that's the only other giant crocodile in Africa I know of. But Stomatosuchus inermis existed in a latter time after Suchomimus during the time of Spinosaurus, so I'd say it was their first impression of Sarchosuchus.

  • Now that is ART.

  • Good choice on the music, it fits so well with Suchiomimus

  • isint this dinosaur the brother of Spinosaurids !??!???!?!?!?

  • Hey Tyranno Titan I like Spinosaurus 2!I think it would've killed T-rex.T-Rex is a scavenger!

  • T-rex was a scavenger! Why does everyone make a big deal about him?!He is a big fat lazy

    reptile!

  • What song is this?

  • Jurassic park is gay.they make such a big deal of spinosaurese, like before a t-rex and spino satarted fighting the spino raured and his wifes like 't-rex?' he says 'no,bigger' and it turns out to be a spino.THERE SMALLER THEN T-REXS!

  • I love how they have the curved lip of a Dilophosaurus and the snout of a Gharial. Really an amazing creature.

    Great job with the video!

  • even when i search it on the internet it doesnt say that its largest so hah

  • So... Wikipedia isn't reliable, but some random site from Google is?

There are a ton of sites that haven't been updated on Spinosaurus info. A TON.

  • fine then is there a documentary or an announcement that says its largest? they have amde a documentary on every single major discovery

    so is there one?

  • actually i recently found out anything u edit on wikipedia(if it has a source) it gets changed back so ur actually right

i hear by apologise for all the arguments about spinos size

but i guess the only reason it had it is so other predators will be scared cos apart from size it will be owned by all carnosaurs

and spino is still a fish eating scavenger

  • Why're you trying to degrade an animal in the first place?

  • i just think after jp3 lots of people are posting childish comments like spinosaursus is the best cos it broke rexs neck in jp3 and blah blah blah its just so so so annoying

  • Uh, no. Most people are posting childish comments about how Spinosaurus sucks because it killed the T. rex. Hardly anybody likes Spinosaurus because of what it did in JP3. Spinosaurus was my favourite dinosaur even before I knew about JP3.

  • If you think THAT'S annoying, you need to see what it's like to be someone with a Spinosaurus video deleting five thousand comments a day saying "OMFG SPINO SUKCS BALLZ!!!!111 I HAET JP3 ITS SO GEY!!!"

  • well i do hate jp3 and i thought ur favourite dinosaur was tyrannotitan

  • suchomimus is cool.

  • okay don't diss Tyranosaurus rex, it was a pinicle of evolution and fighting over wich dinosaur is more cool is really immature, and they weren't lizards they were birds (fossil evidence and over 100 similarities between dinosaur bones and bird bones) anyway Tyranosaur and Suchomimus are both dinosaurs that we need to respect and understand what they are and were not say

"scavanging little wuss with girl arms" because seriously, how old are you?

  • Hell, I didn't write that. It's from a site. This isn't about "who is better," it's about cultural emphasis on dinosaurs, which Rex is getting too much of.

  • When t. rex was first found, it was considered to be a god and the largest land predator. Now scientists know that spinosaurus was bigger, and so was giganotosaurus. The reason t. rex gets a lot of attention is because it's more well-known and has more fossils.

  • giga is largest though

  • no, spinosaurus is.

  • let me guess ur getting this from wikipedia

cant actually belevie u believe wiki

  • It's common knowledge now that Spinosaurus was the largest predatory dinosaur.

  • well if it was they would make a documentary or atleasted announced it on the news

    if there is tell me

  • wikipedia is actually reliable. WHenever you edit something that doesn't have a source, they undo it. Spinsoaurus was 60 feet long and 9 tons.

  • they r not either and dinosaurs have an extremely close relationship with reptiles what do u think they evolved from

  • my fav spinosaurud

in my opinion spinosaurus is a weiner but its the best looking dino but looks arent everything

the y carcharodontosaurus the largest land carnivore eva

exept to giganotosaurus but i like carcha cos its name means shark my fav animal that exists now

  • man that dino got owned by the supercroc

  • i like the song, what is it.

    I like the Dinosaur too.

  • it looks like a mix of baronyx and spinosaur

  • Suchomimus and Spinosaurus would own you all!Because this Video Rules!

  • i love the musique and the suchomimus il corespond avec la musique

  • raptors are most dangerous on land and 2nd in the sea! raptors are awsome!

  • Not to be rude or anything, but how can the raptors be the second most dangerous in the sea?

  • O_O i want to shoot down everyone who fights dinos out of different continents and periods...

    sucho rule!

the pic at 0.18 i looked over the croc. it was sarcosuches lethei who reached lengths of 25 meters :) that is what i call "super croc"

  • I wonder if we will see these things in hell?.

  • Suchomimus and Spinosaurus rule!5/5 Stars!Cool!

  • No in dinosaur heaven

  • Yep all animals go to the same heaven where good people go when they die.

  • Spinosaurus and suchomimus may not have been regular active hunters, neither are bears and they still can pwn a lion or a tiger. crocodile-like mandibles are really powerful, and theyve got also claws n' stuff.

So, Ankylosaurus? really? what a about argentinosaurus? with only one arm, 26000 kg over ankilosaurus, and your little armor wont be of much use, it would kill it with that ease.

  • Although those jaws were very powerful they were not really designed for cathcing large dinosaurs. I think with Spino you must think in the order of Ouranosaurus

  • Hey Canadasaur, Try not insulting an American. nobody has called it that in many many years.

I'm not so sure about in Canada though.

  • ...What?!

  • look at the description you put dumbass.

  • I didn't write that. It's from a website.

  • Lol, true, I mean.. the text is colpletely right in my opinion, Gondwanian dinosaurs are much more badass than Laurasians, just check spinosaurus, suchomimus, spinosaurus, giganotosaurus, carcharodontosaurus, they are all African or South American dinosaurs, and all of them would eat Mc.t-rex with fries if they wouldnt have anything better. People is only talking about triceratops and t-rex all day becouse they come out in films and video games, but they suck all the way compared to real dinos.

  • Sorry, you replied me? my e-mail says you did, but i cant see your messenge... its happening kinda often.

    And by the way:

"Hey Canadasaur, Try not insulting an American."

Guess in wich continent is Canada.

  • ...why did this come up when i searched for world's largest bicep...?

  • 0:17 and 0:21 is sick

  • Thats because Suchiomimus is basically a european Spino.

  • So, Do you think Rex is a scavenger??

  • The picture at 00:27 looks almoust like Spinosaurus.
