@delfartel i actually didn't know that but the s13 does have a smaller maf than the s14. this video doesnt make sense because my sr with a t25 (which is a smaller turbo than the s14sr's ans is rated at 205 stock) does a 13.7 @ 10 psi at the track with only a 3in exhaust and a front mount. like i said, 63 pounds less would have made a closer race. 14.9 seems too slow for a s14 sr.
@Cisco121490 Stock S13's with SR20s run 14.4 to 14.5ish, a fmic intercooler, intake, exhaust and uping the boost does alot for a S13, the stock exhaust is super restricted and that intercooler doesn't cool much, my friends SR's with those mods but down roughly 220 to the wheels.
@Cisco121490 and yea 14.9 seems slow shoulda been 14.5ish I'm thinking, the honda weighs 2643lbs has 197hp compared to the silvias 2762 and 217hp. For p/w ratio the Integra is moving 13.41lbs per hp and the silvia is moving 12.72lbs per hp, so the Silvia has a better p/w ratio and has a traction advantage with weight transfer, but the integra is fwd and has less drivetrain loss. Other factors are pwr bands/torque curves and gearing, but still looks like the silvia shoulda done alot better.
nissan are generally good with turbos. honda goes the na route. no such thing as whose better or not. both companies with different approaches to making cars. if everyone were doing turbos and rwd, life would be a bit boring.

raidacaipo, I have made no excuses. I get beat by 4cyl all the time. And no type R with slicks and a tune only will run mid13s...Sorry but no 90WTQ isnt going to suffer from much wheel spin :) and a tune will only optimize the performance of the engine, and the typeR is already just that. a typeR with slicks and a tune will run a .1 or 2 faster than stock. so mid14s maybe low 14s.

The "240sx" (S14 Silvia) is a VVT SR20DET, the ITR is just too light for the S14 to hang with it.

They don't make 240SX in Japan. It says 240 in the title but it says Silvia in the vid. Its written in Katakana. Silvias come with
SR20 motors.
