Thank you for the Teseo videos - it's my favourite Handel opera, should be done more often. (though it's good to know there's a DVD) The music is so gorgeous! Bravo to the singer too, this is a heck of a role.

Her voice accurate to this role, director is conducting this arioso in very nice, fast tempo and staging is also interesting (in my opinion)...

Oooh, this is the 1st time I see Maria Riccarda singing. Great! I fell over her Handel Heroines CD a couple of months ago. Since then, I'm so fond of her shining mezzo voice, her most natural way of singing, where she seems to use her whole body as instrument. These dramatic Handel roles suit her SO well!

I've read she will be Sesto in Giulio Cesare next year, I really look forward to it!
