  • If you put it in a jar, and place a sample in a shot glass, you should be able to test any material. Like a mass spectrometer checking for the presence of harmful contaminants.

    my channel: mythhealer

  • can you set minimum thresholds so it wont alarm with 6uR/h? or can you change how frequent it alarms?

  • Got one. I have to say, the software is a bit useless...

  • where can you buy them for 170 at?

  • @nicksuncle I have no idea.

  • where u can get this pls tell me !!!

  • @tjorvenxD0o01ste Keep checking eBay.

  • @mkrubsack ok thx

  • I'm interested in experimenting with these at airport body scanners, does it show the strength of the radiation also?? is that the % mark at 1:40??

  • Got an older version from Ebay for £90.00, used it to show radiation at altitude on a commercial flight with Ryanair/ Check out my video.

  • is it expensive

    please respond

  • @talibanrules Yes, brand new they are over $1000

  • @talibanrules you can get 1 for $170 if you want to order 1 il give you the website in a message if i do it on the comments youtube will not allow the comment to be posted.

  • @TruUnderGroundHipHop

    do you know where, michaelnouri@yahoo.com

  • @talibanrules A good deal is to find one for $500 or less.

  • hey i'm a firefighter where can i get one from for my hazmat ops and tech

  • is gamma radiation the most common type of radiation around?

  • @froggies100 Kinda. We are bombarded by cosmic rays, and they are gamma.

  • @froggies100 i think it is alpha particles that are the most common, if not i second beta particles

  • Wonderful device, but appears to take quite some time to start up

  • @cheeseboat15 You usually leave it turned on and it won't go through that every time.

  • I just received this, and I really like it. I'm waiting on the IR adapter to get here, then I'll be all set.

  • Sometimes the IR adaptor is abit finicky, but once you get the hang of it, it's nice to use.

  • Just curious. Is your detector EMP proof??

  • @1NWOMD No.

  • wiil it go off near a computor

  • idk but i wan one

  • No, it's quite particular to the radiation it registers. It is not a geiger counter, there is no G-M tube. It is a scintillator, and a CsI(TL) scintillation detector senses gamma emitting radioactive materials. CsI(TL)is Cesium Iodide doped with Thallium. It only detects gamma radiation, nothing else.

  • @eggy741 No.
