they said bailout will prevent job loss and yet they laid our 40,000

the bailout is to maintain their $16M salary and corporate jets

I would like to know how the automaker employees health benefits retirement benefits and raises compare to those of the CEO,s. Do they get the same healthcare package? Do they get the same retirement benefits? Do they get a raise when the CEO,s get one and at the same percentage? If not, this a another problem. Some of the money they make should be going to the workers in some form or another.

Part of the problem the automakers are in is because of greed; they make more money than most people need in an entire life time. If they (administrators)take pay cuts, the extra money could be used in all sorts of ways; to give back to tax payers by financing infrastructure maintenance, funding care for auto accident victims,financing the installation and maintenance of traffic cameras and funding drivers ed for teens. Many things can be done with this extra money.
