  • Tim Burton: a genius ! <3

  • I think what gets me the most is the fact that the guy holding the camera is John Lasseter. Lol.

  • Looks like someone thought LSD would make them creative.

  • tim is like "what....."

  • @spyr099

    I know! I loled! :'D

  • they sound like they're being big jerks to him

  • is this guy stoned ??

what the fuck is going on here?

  • @zx6rtt

No, hes not. For the info, Tim is a wonderfully creative yet seemingly "very shy" kind of guy. At least, thats what I know from what I've read about him and I've seen him doing interviews, too...

  • this video sorta makes me rethink ever wanting to work for disney cause tim is my hero and they treated him like crap

  • @xXDeniVonVanityXx

Let us create a team. NOW. <3 Burton love! xD I don't know about thinking twice about Disney, though. Animators there right now are saying that it's definitely changed from what it was back then.

  • "Disney Presents!: Acid"

  • and he spent the next 45 minutes trying to figure out what the fuck just happened.

  • He looks so unhappy but I couldn't help but laugh my a** off at this. His face just says it all.

"I hate it here and I want you all to die... Now go away and quit bothering me with your cheerful nonsense." xD

  • niggas trippin bawls

  • That was weird..

  • fucker is tripping balls

  • why are they making fun of Tim?!?! They're so mean... Thank goodness he left Disney!

  • 1 kg of LSD...

  • nop, in this video he is an idiot :P

  • he is a genius

  • Well he obviously didn't like working at Disney.

  • nwo puppet

  • What the fuck is wrong with you people.

  • He's so cute!!!!!

  • I like tim burton movies, no matter what anyone says he's living the dream and making more money than any of us

  • Do you know Randy?

  • tim burton can suck my dick

  • What a creepy weirdo!

  • What a charming fellow he was...that open-mouthed blank stare...

  • For some reason I'm obsessed with this video...something about the Disney guys being such douches. Plus the way the guy says 'Hi Tim! This is Tim Burton' but it being a total non-event. I don't know...just goes to show this sort of video is invaluable.

  • He looks like Neville Longbottom.

  • 0:40

    Godzilla vs. Megalon

  • tim burton is insane, and highly overrated.

  • @dchockeygoali07 you suck!!!!

  • miamor, me encantaaa¡¡¡¡

  • John Lasseter's holding the camera? What.

  • Haha I'm pretty sure they were all messing w/ eachother haha Tim's not this weird in real life I saw him at his gallery at LACMA!

  • acid

  • i look and act similarly when i daydream. i wonder what he was thinking about. since his movies are great, his thoughts must be incredibly amazing O_O i'd "watch" them all day if i could

  • LSD

  • Hilarious. It was probably staged. Burton's weird but not THAT kind of weird. They were doing this as an inside joke most likely and Burton was in on it.

  • Howard Wolowitz!?

  • Wow you people have no taste. He's a genious, would any of you people thought to make such good movies like the nightmare before christmas or the corpse. They are original ideas that you never could have thought of, so you cant say ANYTHING. Im off to drink my tea.

  • @BlackKohhl Some of us don't like his movies or consider him a genius. Some of us do and also have a sense of humor that isn't based upon idol worship. Relax.

  • @captainshiner3 Some of us don't WHAT, HOW DARE.... oh yes, heheh, a sense of humor. No of course I don't worship... no yes, absolutely.

  • On acid?

  • What a neat guy.

  • he looks like neville longbottom

  • This is how works L S D

  • cuh-reeeepy

  • ive met Tim Burton a couple of times through Helena Bonham Carter (a relative).

he isn't tripping balls he is just incredibly socially awkward and can get kind of zoned out at times.

  • is he like...flipping out? lol...whats wrong with him.

  • Holy crap! Cartwright, Lasseter and Burton in the same room at the same time! Why did Disney suck so much arse in the 80's?

  • He looks like someone just walked in on him jacking off.

  • Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissor Hands. Every one of his other movies are absolute fucking shit. He makes weird movies because he was picked on constantly.

Stop picking on him. I don't want any more classic movies (Willy Wonka) to be shit on. Seriously trying to out-do Gene Wilder. You are out of your fucking mind, sir.

  • @AirmetalDrummer Erm.... as funny as that was.... you left out Ed Wood that's a great film.

  • @AirmetalDrummer

Completely agree man. Didn t enjoy Nightmare but I would add Batman 2 and Beetlejuice.

It really sucks how he inserts his own dark style to classic movies that were already dark suck as Alice or Willy Wonka. They did not need his touch. But..they made money...so stay tuned cause more to come.

  • @AirmetalDrummer Thank fuck, someone who knows their shit and talks sense. Kudos, young whippersnapper.

  • @AirmetalDrummer Woah woah woah... I'm fine if you think that his recent work sucks, whatever. But you've left off Batman, Beetlejuice, Big Fish, and to a less serious extent Mars Attacks and Sweeney Todd (I thought it was okay but some people loved it). Tim Burton has a lot of really good films.

I personally loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as it took a different approach from the book, not attempted to out-do Gene Wilder. I can't speak for Alice though.

  • @TarnicUS

I agree with you on Big Fish, Beetlejuice and Sweeney Todd....But are you actually DEFENDING his batman movies? GOOD DAY SIR!!!!

  • @Legolas17Jun I don't see what was wrong with his Batman movies... Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholas? Not to mention it was the first time Batman was portrayed as a dark knight instead of some tights-wearing campy detective.

I could understand not loving Batman Returns (though I always liked it). His films were 10000X better than Schumacher's.

  • @AirmetalDrummer Big Fish? Beetlejuice? Ed Wood?

  • @MiracleElixir I did leave out Big Fish and Beetlejuice. Mars Attacks! is one of the worst movies ever made. Period.

  • @AirmetalDrummer What about Ed Wood and Sweeney Todd. Those weren't absolute shit

  • @AirmetalDrummer his batman resurrected batman's popularity, beetle juice was also incredibly popular. willy wonka was obviously just a money grab that im sure he was not proud of. the movies he conceptualized, or had full control over are usually decent.

  • @AirmetalDrummer You obviously haven't seen Mars Attacks. Dipshit.

  • @VengefulRonin I have seen Mars Attacks!. That movie is the stupidest bunch of bullshit I've ever seen pulled together in one presentation. What was actually good about that movie? I can't even think of one good point to that movie. It was dumb as hell.

  • @AirmetalDrummer sweeney todd was awesome so was corpse bride

  • @AirmetalDrummer Ed Wood was great.

  • @AirmetalDrummer I take it you've never seen Ed Wood. Great film.

  • @AirmetalDrummer I agree with you, but i put Sleepy Hollow to in that list.

  • @AirmetalDrummer Nightmare Before Christmas was directed by Henry Selick, not Tim Burton. And Everybody knows that his version of Charlie and the Chocolate factory is better than the previous film (I won't say the original, burton's movie was a new version of roald dahl's book). In fact, Roald Dahl himself was dissatisfied with Willy Wonka... No wonder, since it's a total missreading of the book...

  • @GonzoGoesToBitburg87 Tim Burton co-wrote Nightmare Before Christmas and it's basically called Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas and he has never said that he didn't want it that way.

Dahl was upset about Willy Wonka because he thought it put too much emphasis on Willy Wonka and not Charlie. You have to change books to make it work with the actors. They changed it because Gene Wilder is brilliant and MADE that movie so good. Dahl was lazy and missed deadlines so he has to deal with it.

  • @AirmetalDrummer He was not trying to out-do Gene Wilder. The version of Willy Wonka he made was more closer to the book than the original. It was a very dark children's book and I think he shot it perfect in relation to the book. I'm guessing you never saw the original Batman, with Jack Nicholson, do you think that was a shitty movie?

  • @missionaryman69 That's like comparing apples to dinosaurs. Of course I saw the original batman and at the time it was really good. I still like it for nostalgia reasons. When you re-do a movie, you always step on someone's performance. Tim Burton even said he re-did the movie because he didn't like the original. Everything about Tim Burton's Willy Wonka was over-the-top. It was just a movie to try and get more money. Everything in it is absolute garbage.

  • @AirmetalDrummer To me, Tim Burton is a talented artist even though I don't really like his work, neither I consider him a genius.Everything you say is subjective and a matter of opinion, you can't prove that Tim Burton is a mediocre mind in matter of cinema, many people will disagree. I'm sure he managed to do something remarkable when he succeeded in creating his own distinctive style, and I can assure you that this is a hard thing. And due to his talent he'll be remember by future generations

  • @YeshAyn I'm not trying to "prove." anything. It is very obvious that this is my opinion. Apparently a lot of other people agree otherwise I wouldn't be voted up. That just mean that it is an opinion shared by many others. But it is still just an opinion. If someone likes him that's fine. That is how I feel about his work though.

  • @AirmetalDrummer It's kind of interesting to see how many thumbs up you received here, Tim Burton has many admirers and they were supposed to be here in a great number. Anyway, that's it, you said everything now.

  • @YeshAyn I agree. I didn't mean to start a fight really. Just saying my opinion like everyone else. TBH it's annoying getting all of these messages lol. Oh well.

  • @AirmetalDrummer I don't like "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory", I've never really liked that movie not even when I was a kid. I considered both the book and the movie (the old version) a piece of shit... But that's a matter of taste, my friend.

  • He's tripping balls!

  • Genius.

  • If that was me;

I'd jump on you like a squirrel monkey, screaming Woody Guthrie protest songs, while stabbing you in the face with that pencil, eraser side out of course, I'm not an animal.

  • Pretty sure he's on acid

  • LOL he is clearly on acid. either that or he smoked DMT before going to work

  • @realsiq DMT only lasts like 5-15 min, and he wouldn't beable to walk most likely during it.

I'd say Acid or Mushrooms, it would have to be a huge dose of Mush though.

  • @realsiq

    DMT's like a 20 minute trip, dumbass

  • @Robstailey if by 20 minutes you mean 2 minute, then yeah youre right

  • @Robstailey its a 40 second video. chill4me hulk

  • I just... want to hug him

  • Bet they feel bad for teasing him now.

  • I like the part when he says something.

  • @rainst0rms I'm high. This comment made me lose my shit. I like your style.

  • Something smells like purple.

  • @kargenlewis :( be a better troll

  • I like the part with Tim Burton.

  • ios he a little special?

  • Mmmmm... space cakes

  • He looks like Nevel Longbottom

  • @XMooMooMonkeyX Straight up

  • He sounded autistic, and i'm not just being a dick...

  • @TheDerpForce he made noise?

  • @TheDerpForce Except he never said a word.. so..

  • @leetalityv2 sorry, what i meant to say is that he *looked* kind of autistic, this just meaning that he showed some of the social, um, awkwardness? I'm not making a judgement. I just find it kind of interesting to see what he was like when in my mind i had this vision of a jolly, happy go luck guy that everyone admired and such. make more sense?

  • i hope they're not picking on him :(

  • "I'm crushing his groin"

  • @jerryisthinking drawings*

  • @jerryisthinking "I'm crushing his drawing" :P

  • You never interrupt a man when he's in the middle of drawing black and white swirly things

  • Oh by the way Tim, I need to use your stapler and if could just have that, that would be greeeat.

  • @cridantis *stutters*

  • Hahaha, why are they talking to him like he is tripping/retarded?

  • @TheSweetjonny Cause he's clearly tripping?

  • It's Neville Longbottom.

  • @candyZombie95 No its Howard from the Big Bang Theory.

  • I need verification on this. But it passes my initial BS-o-meter

  • cant talk now, im in space

  • I can't work out if their mates giving him some shit... or if they're picking on him....

  • Trippin balls something fierce

  • Haha, awesome

  • Amazing

  • haha i think id do exactly the same thing.

  • wahahahahaha!!!

  • WTF just happened!

That's my reaction and I think it's his too.

  • Hahaha!!

"He's a gas!" *Burton scribbles aimlessly*

  • That was weird, I'd be annoyed as hell if a couple jerks walked in on my high acting like that with a camera. Doesn't seem like weed though, maybe LSD?

  • yup, he's high

  • Lol was he on drugs?

  • @VASIO0 Ι Hope not....

  • God, he was so awkward.
