I love the postman! He's probably the Christmas villian that has the BEST reason for wanting to ruin Christmas: He's the only postal worker in the city apperently so he has to do all of the Christmas deliveries. That would make anyone crazy after so many years.

@GermanConquistador08 Yeah, most Christmas- movie villains just hate Christmas because they're jerks, but the Postman actually has a rather valid reason. Plus, he's funny as hell and voiced by the same actor who plays Homer Simpson. So, yeah, he's definitely one of the best Christmas villains ever.

I used to listen to the original tape and book of this in elementary school long before I even saw this special, you'd be surprised at how incredibly different the two are from each other the plot is different ,Olive still helps Santa but in the book Christmas isn't facing being canceled and about nearly every character here in this special was not in the book, the book didn't even feature a villain, so the plot was a little less on the dire side, I still remember the book*2bcont.*

*Continued* I still remember the book featuring a smiling snowflake on one page and on the back cover of the book it had the same snowflake with the words "No two are alike" anyways Martini, the pet flea, the postman, and Tim are all characters added for the special, only characters the original book featured were Olive, Santa, his Reindeer, and Mrs. Clause. about the only part that the special and the book share is Olive using her nose to sniff Mrs. Clause Cookies to guide Santa's *2bcont.*

*Continued* to guide Santa's sleigh home, and Olive being given a pair of Reindeer antlers as a gift, also Olive hears the Rudolph the red-nosed-reindeer song out of a loudspeaker in the book twice and assumes she's a reindeer because of it, like I said the book is vastly different from this special that's based on it.
