They didn't die, they got multiple bone-fractures .. (well i dont know how to say in englis) but they survived, it was a sham of a rescue, but the helicopter cord succumbed due the weight

If I remember the story right, it's practice for the real thing between two mountain rescue workers. After this, they were both okay and just barely avoided falling off a huger cliff. Non-life-threatening injuries.
