The attack on this amp seems a bit hard and brittle..............or was it the quality of the sound recording........or maybe the speaker is,nt broken in yet?
Had a Jake for a while (see my demo). It was the predecessor to the Fandango, but with less gain. Great amp - but came to the conclusion that this Chub is very good indeed (it's basically an eveloution of the R30). Depends how much money you have to spend, Venus 6 and Fandango's are expensive. The R series are a very very good buy secondhand - if I'd found one, would have got it. All good kit tho, Rivera. Top stuff...

At my opinion Rivera really builds the best amps and I wonder why to pay more to get high end amps.
