The events weren't as major like the real marines who fight night after night for democracy. YES it did give a new perspective of war but if your going to call it "BEST WAR BOOK" at least make more action! And language please, your probably just learning the big boy words :)

@justinking19951 why would you want to expirience war? if your just a kid who plays call of duty or halo well then its nothing like that. war is different in real life. My father went through it in Vietnam and as well as my cousins in Afghanistan. They wake up screaming at night wondering where there friends went. war is nothing like in the movies. a 30 caliber machine gun rips you in half. a grenade blows your body to pieces. really even while reading this book i wonder why u want to go to war
@243Abolerz dude didnt you read my dad went to iraq in 2005 my cousin got blown up in 2007 by a stupid suicide bomber i have family in every single american war ecept for the american revoultion my great great uncle road with general custer my great uncle died on the u.s arizona during pearl harbor so yeah i ahve a really really big military back ground and i want to be a e.o.d if you know what that is so dont say stuff like that when you really dont even know who the hell your talking about

Honestly, I thought Fallen Angels was better, because it had more action. This book was still pretty good though.
