I'm not gonna lie, I'm really starting to hate Luffy. The Death of Ace, the misery of Garp, the pain his crew has had to endure, etc. can somehow be all traced to him and his stupidity. That is of course, when they joined the crew.

@PRChampion2002 Wrong. Ace died because of his own pig headedness, in both hunting Blackbeard and being unable to simply walk away from Akainu's insult.

Garp isn't miserable, he simply wanted Luffy and Ace to be marines, at worst he is dissapointed in Luffy.

The crew's pain has nothing to do with him, If not for Luffy, Robin would be in prison or dead, Zoro would have starved to death, Nami would be a slave to Arlong etc..

Garp has lost both of his grandsons, and you're right, even though the members of the crew weren't in the best position, they surely haven't had it easier than when they left home.

Luffy is still alive. Garp still loves him, regardless of his path, as shown when he allowed himself to be hit by Luffy.

Yes they have, Nami was a slave to Arlong, Robin was on the run from the government, Zoro would have been dead, Brook would have been alone, Usopp would likely be dead etc.

@LORDUnLuCkY13 Your right about everyone except Sanji and maybe Franky, at baratie he constantly got to flirt with women and he got along with Patty slighty better than Zoro. In hindsight Zeff was a New World Pirate even with his broken leg he could have taken Kreig Luffy did not really save him, and because of him Sanji had to live in hell for 2 years. Not sure about Franky being apart from his brothers vs. living out your dream is difficult, he left largely because of his bounty

Sanji viewed trying to achieve his dream as futile until Luffy beat Krieg and said he was fine with dying as long as he tried. The "hell" stuff is clearly for comedic affect. There is no way to know whether Zeff could have taken on Krieg.

Luffy defeated Spandam's forces, who were responsible for Tom's death. The Franky Family also implied that Franky wanted to ride Sunny with the StrawHats.

Wow...I stopped watching the anime for a bit becuase they seemed to be getting no where with the show. It took them forever to save Ace, so I stopped watching it...I can honestly say I wanna watch it again. A lot has changed, and One Piece cant be far.
