I am desperate to get a hold of this documentary, especially since is already Black History Month and I would love to share with my students this important information. I went to the official website and I have not been able to email the creators of this great work. Please let me know what's the status of this documentary.
I am planning a 12 day trip to a spanish speaking country this summer to get a taste of language immersion. A Black woman, I also want to spend time in Afro-Latino areas. I'm currently looking at Costa Rica and Colombia, as I have connections there already. Any other suggestions or helpful insight? Thank you in advance!

Though there was trading in Angola . Also Europeans could not penetrate the interior of the African continent. So naturally they had to go to people who were willing to participate in the slave trade. Plenty of Africans want blacks of the diaspora to claim Africa.

Love this. I will definitely support. As a black American woman just watching this trailer brought tears to my eyes to see how our people are suffering throughout the diaspore. It is about time this story comes to lthe open. I am black american who just made Ocha in Cuba. I have Mexicans and Cubans in my family and proud of it. I have learned much about my African heritage from Latinos. We have got to realize that we may speak a different language but we are same blood and went through similar experiences in our respective countries. The common experience of slavery and conquest also makes us brothers and sisters.
