  • This is some shitty Machine Head song, I hate to say. But on the bright side the band has without a doubt done nothing but better since those earlier days. Fuck yeah. The Blackening FTW.

  • that is gayest machine head video

  • @nimakoulas thanks man \m/

  • Robb totally looks like one of the Frog Brothers.

  • My favorite song!!!!! I love USA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where is his beard?!?!?!?!

  • This video makes me glad Machine Head eventually became gods, because they were certainly very human once upon a time.

  • Robb Flynn kind of looks like Gambit here xD

  • Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........ I'm going to go watch Aesthetics of Hate.

  • bit awkward how this vid was originally released on 9/11 ...

  • i love this fucking song!!!!

  • Robb Flynn looks really gay in this video

  • Theres 2 reasons why 1999 to 2002 were Machine Head's most embarrassing years and most painful and that is because of the music business and Ahrue Luster, back in the day from 1997 to 2001 and maybe 2002 Nu metal was selling like cocaine, so Road Runner Records influence Machine Head to do more commercial music like Nu Metal so that the label can make revenue, Ahrue Luster himself is a huge fan of that style of music, so after MH decided to go back to their old sound Luster left, thank GOD!

  • @damb83 Don't get me wrong but this is all bullshit. MH become changing to "Nu" style during THTC years (Look at Take My Scars video, Robb with short chaircut, Logan Mader with dreadlocks). I think all mess with numetal was idea of all band members. Just call it creativity. New horizonts, new direction...

  • @damb83 TLDR; Nu-metal was cool and Ahrue insisted they go with it. Machine Head dropped him to return to metal.

  • @damb83 dude couldnt say it better than that! Ahrue.. was poison

  • @damb83 I see nothing wrong with this song or the albums MH put out in this time period, it's all about being progressive and diverse. I am glad they just didn't try to keep remaking 'Burn My Eyes' or 'More Things Change'

nothing embarassing or painful about this time period in MH history.

  • @AngryAgain Actually it could be considered pretty embarassing and painful, considering how obviously they changed to a style that was all the rage at the moment (': Which ofcourse has nothing to do with the quality of the records, personally I like this.

  • this video is pretty lame though. teenage angst!

  • im glad as shit that they dont sound like this anymore... limp buizkit hahaha

  • Comment removed

  • this is soooooooo bad :SS what happened to MACHINE HEAD :SS

  • @danijelciuss machinehead doesnt play this shit anymore. now they play metal. its all good :D. this is from their worst album

  • @ImmortalSpammer i agree this is their worst album, but I will admit I liked this song and bulldozer back in the day

  • @JCordoba1001 agreed i really like defeaning silence too :-)

  • Can someone tell me who's the lead guitarist here, I can't recognize his face ><

  • @ChainBG ahrue luster who is now in ill nino

  • @ryknow89 thanks mate, didn't knew there was someone else except for Logan and Fil, cheers !

  • Why is there so much hate for Hip Hop and Rap? Hip Hop and Rap and Metal/Rock etc have influenced each other since the beginning. God damn, it only happens with Metal fans, too. All this hating of other Genres. It's kinda sad.

  • If you're dumb enough to have to ask why people hate hiphop and rap, you're obviously too stupid to process the answer that I or anybody else would give you, so I won't

  • @frebindels

No. Musical diversity doesn't make some one 'Stupid'. I'm not on about the poor excuse of Hip Hop and Rap that is played over the Radio these days. I'm on about the old school style Rap and Hip Hop which had emotion and meaning. You're exactly the reason Metal-Heads have a bad reputation. Like I said Hip Hop and Metal have been influencing each other for years. Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park pulled it off well. (I know they aren't exactly Metal but it highlights my point). Grow up.

  • @Donnelly182 Limp Bizkit has never done anything right. They fail at music in general.

  • @smrtsk8er

I like them, as do many others. The statement still stands, though.

  • @Donnelly182 as a metalhead myself, i like other genres aswell. i just like good music. rock, alternative, prog, hell i even enjoy some classical from time to time, but rap, hip hop, pop etc is so talentless and is just plain old bad music, so a true metalhead, is really just a musiclover.

  • One of my favorite songs by them

  • It seems its cool to hate on the Supercharger & The Burning Red albums all because of 1 minute (tops) of rap style vocals on each disc. Like it or not the groove MH had on earlier albums was partly inspired by hip hop too.

The last couple of albums might be more metal but for me its all about the songs & emotion.

  • robb looks like ray william johnson here xD

  • Wierd seeing them do this stuff. I mean after the beef they had with Limp Bizkit, seems a bit hypocritical .

  • @Harrysound It's not like Limp Bizkit owns nu-metal :P

  • youtube.com/watch?v=xbcI0daVRgU&feature=related

listen what they say in this movie, and look at this clip.....

  • it doesn't really matter to me if they changed their music up a bit, Machine Head is a great band and in every song there is a message that penetrates the listeners' hearts every time. No matter what song I'm listening to whether it be Crashing Around You or Now I Lay Thee Down I get those chills that shoot adrenaline through me and if that feeling comes around every time then there's no reason to not stay loyal to their music. If you're a true Machine Head fan, you'll love every song they play.

  • omg hate guys who judge bands. i think BME is the best but burning red/ supercharger also cool

diffrent but cool/ vidieo little commercial

  • thank god for phil. when he joined the band they strated back on the right path to metal greatness.

  • Its like Machine Head then and now are two different bands...I love them both!!!

  • @IzzyBoyadzhieff the progression from NU-metal, to true metal

  • The low-point of one of the best bands of this generation...THANK GOD FOR THE SONG IMPERIUM...

  • wtf is this gay shit? i thought these guys were metal... this shit looks like backstreet boys with guitars. fuck this bullshit

  • @killinemfast Well, "From this day" is like nu-metal-disco-core on drugs. So fuckin' what dude? This was also a part of their history, which led them to their later masterpieces. I guess you were born a baby too, and matured. And while doing so, you must have done things that look stupid, looking back now, right? Like everybody else. :) Bear with it, I know it is painful... :D

  • @Gecc dont be a fuckin retard... machine head started out decent with "burn my eyes." this garbage right here though is not maturation, this is fucking sellout horseshit and its fucking terrible. they should not only be ashamed, imo they cannot be redeemed of this crap. their new shit 'locust' is pretty sub-par as well. these guys fell off... plain and simple. they suck

  • @killinemfast Im guessing you forgot to listen to The Blackening? XD

  • @killinemfast these guys changed a lot back then this was metal and theyve changed so much and we dont care for your opinions robb flynn is a god

  • read up on it, the whole band were on drugs pretty hard through out burning red and supercharger

  • I find it interesting that Ahrue was on both the albums that were a departure from the core sound of MH, I love all the albums, but I don't love them equally. The video for this song had EPIC bad timing in it's release and content, I remember taping it from MTV, and never seeing it again after early september...

  • im not dissing this, but machine have grown up a lot i think, definatly got better with age =)

  • nu metal style its cool...but they groove/thrash style is fucking perfect!!!

  • I have to admit I'm not a big fan of The Burning Red and Supercharger but they aren't anywhere near as bad as most people make them out to be. Supercharger has some great songs on it, most notably this, the title track, White Knuckle Blackout, Bulldozer, Deafening Silence, All In Your Head

  • @robbb12354 totally agree man, totally agree

  • holy fuck this is some poser shit, this aint metal

  • @crazylocoguitar their old and new shit is better, much better. they went though a nu metal phase.

  • and just to make it perfectly clear, they dont need any queens!!! they are already lined up in swarms!!! unto the Locust!!!!!!

  • its really fuckin simple, a Machine Head was a badass band that dropped their pawn, picked up a bishop, and check fuckin mate!!! ;)

    "dirtysheets" copyright mother fucker!!!

  • i love this band, machine head, is the best band, i hacve influences of Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera, Megadeth, Fear Factory, Slayer and Disturbed

  • Papa Roach??

  • Did youtubes format just change... AGAIN?

  • Eh.. not the Machinehead for me, it sounds like they're being like Three Days Grace er something xP

  • @ScreaminSavior Dude, I was about to write same thing. I think all MH fans agree it was their low point, but hey no one's perfect, it's still same band, had some good songs on the album like bulldozer, trephination or american high

  • different from blackening and Locust but still its Machine Fucking Head we are talking about...even this is good in its own way!

  • "Hey all, check out my impression of Jonathan Davis at 0:43"

  • I love machine head, each album is a masterpiece and yet each album is fucing different <3

  • This is my favorite song from this band xD

  • @9851trent You mad bro haha

  • @Frizz529 hahaha yes i know that

  • you'll think you're betrayed, astray

i'll leave you ripped and torn so bad you

    can't trust, can't love

can't understand why life's so fucked

    i'm deep inside your mind

    in constant remind

if you leave your thoughts to me, believe

    i'll make sure that i see !!!

  • Rob looks like Solid Snake...

  • that's the real machine head! nu metal rules!

  • For all the close minded people out there who hate the "nu metal" albums, the band said in their fanpack mag, that they were also their most succesful albums so tell me..... was it really the worst they'd done?! :P

  • Wow, this is alot more different to there new album Locust :P

  • @BiiteThaBullet If you give it your all and fail. Aim for another peak, with heads raised high like nothing ever happened. :)

  • @BiiteThaBullet what I love most about machine head is that all their albums are different. the blackening is by far the best thing they have ever done and is a classic metal album but they are all great in their own way. this one and the burning red albums would have worked if MH didnt have a reputation for being one of the hardest bands about

  • i got the plectrum from adam duce ;)

  • Great song! I do think Ahrue blossomed after MH though when he joined ill nino.

  • Always loved machine head. Met Robb Flynn twice and the band too. Most amazing time. They are one of the best live bands I have seen. Don't get why this band has such little likes!

  • Call it selling out, call it shit, call it whatever you want but it's still fucking metal and until you get it through your thick skull you'll never go farther then "death metal" this and "thrash metal" that. Sure the song is mediocre but that's more between the eye of the beholder than a straight out fact. I don't care if you hate it but if you're going to, at least make a reasonable point about it. Not just "they suck because they sold out" but then again, asking this is a lost cause.

  • I see it as 3 groups. One group that doesn't mind Nu Metal MH but still finds their newer stuff better. The other group being hardasses that only like one genre and hate the rest (kinda the scum of metal) and the other group not giving a shit about ether. I love how such a united genre is so separated.

  • Robb looked like Criss Angel

  • @pp99073

the only thing is. is that robb flynn is the fuckin man!

  • The lead singer would be cute, if he didn't have that thing in his nose that is.

  • @TrinTheTarkington it's out now, he caught it on his guitar and it ripped and robb never replaced it

  • i will f@ck 38mums today!!

  • Is that RWJ?

  • Only 73000 views ? should've been 7.3 million so far

  • IK HEB 2kaartjes tekoop voor het concert van machinehead 28 november in tilburg (013) 35 euro perstuk! i p v 44 euro

  • thats what im saying man.....they deserve way more recognition!!!!

  • can't believe this song is on the same record as Bulldozer, so fucking different

  • They're way more metal now ! I prefer them as they are now !

  • this song is good.....better than locus thats for sure

  • kommerz ..

tut ma leid ich kann ma ned helfen ..

  • Even though the 2 Nu Metalish albums by them were their worst albums, to me, they pulled off the sound alot better than most bands in the scene, while keeping a good groove feel in some songs on the albums (not in this song, mind you). I dunno though, inb4 flamewar. Just my two cents.

  • WHERE IS THE TIME OF " DAVIDIAN"...Shit!!!

    it's very bad

  • Rob had short hair?? :O

  • @31Nibs Rob had frosted spikey hair as well :O

  • Ewwwwww just had some ad about something to do with dubstep just before the music video started. Fuck off YouTube with your shit music taste.

  • Second most embarrasing metal video next to "From This Day".

I could never take that band seriously after "The Burning Red" and "Supercharger".

  • its hard to believe this shitty song is by machinehead. after listening to some imperium, halo, aesthetics of hate and other greats

  • is this machine head going pop?

  • @hornerium machine head going numetal, welcome to the early 2000's:)

  • Sometimes a big reason a band sells out is because they are forced to or they wont be able to get on a record label which means they would have to say goodbye to their music career

  • i liked supercharger but not the burning red

  • @blueice48 i liked the burning red but not supercharger. this song and bulldozer were good

  • @77StrayDog those albums obviously are nowhere near the new albums but theyre not complete and utter garbage, its still talented musical writing

  • Awful CD along The Burning Red,their other CDs are much better.

  • i think its so funny how this was supposed to come out like right when 9/11 happened. talk about bad timing!!

  • Why is it that most "metal" bands that have tried to sell out tend to usually be American? not speaking against Americans or anything but seriously...why? is it the temptation of a big market and to make a lot of money?

  • very good band thnkes spelling mistake :P

  • this is good but im glad they changed back

  • sounds like korn

  • i like new machine head but i do miss the old stuff a little bit!

  • this song is still beyond awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • I still can relate to these songs, man where are the good old days?

  • A fuckin great song...

  • Am i right in thinking Phil Demmel wasn't in the band at this point? Cus as soon as he entered, Machine Head became a godly lineup!

  • @dantess9226

Even back in these days(Pre- TTAOE) Machine Head had a godly line up. If you take a close listen to the lyrical content in this album(Supercharger) it's beyond godly. Machine Head, or should I say Robb Flynn, have always had a way with words. They've been godly from the start.

  • @EdisPro1337 I'm a big fan of Ahrue Luster's work, in ill Nino he's made one hell of a band, the line-up just wasn't in sink back in those days. If you've got the Unto the Locust fanpack there's tonnes of stuff about the line-up and how/why it changed.

  • @dantess9226 Demmel wasn't in the band until Through the Ashes of Empires, but he played some shows with the band when Ahrue Luster left.

  • @dantess9226 you are right and at this point they were trying something new, I like the burning red and supercharger even though a lot of people dont because its something new but ehh...we all love Machine Head and cant wait for Unto The Locust!

  • @dantess9226 Phil is what brought Machine Head back away from this whole numetal/mallcore bullshit phase.

  • @dantess9226 And what about Burn My Eyes ans TMTC?

  • @dantess9226 phil joined after this album Ahrue Luster played on this and left after touring and before the next album

  • machine head gets better and better over the years. But their old stuff is legendary \m/

  • machine gets better and better over the years. But their old stuff is legendary \m/

  • nu-metal is SHIT!

  • Damn i love this album and The Burning Red also EVERY OTHER FUCK'IN ALBUM CUZ THEY ARE DIFFERENT IN EVERY WAY

  • I really really really really love this song. don't particularly like the album, but this song.... oh gosh, it's frikkin good! everything after this is loads better, but I like how this is so different from the new albums. good stuff

  • their style back then is SOOOOOOOOOO different my god....

  • awsome then awsome now

  • they are not realy the machine head...are just actors...but the song.... .-. ....

  • i can't believe that this amazing metal shit have only 43,291 views O.o

  • which motherfucker could dislike this???

  • I liked this album and I'm not afraid to admit it. As a young, impressionable guy it was just the thing going at the time. Of course if it hadn't been for this album the band may not have sunk into that time of tribulation and came back with a vengeance with TTAOE and The Blackening.

  • Nu Metal is METAL. Your favorite genre of metal isn't the best.

  • i bet all these "metal heads" from today actually loved this song when it came out years ago, so shush

  • O__O

woah.. Now listen to this people lol.

    /watch?v=M1ezr_GZpFM

  • Damn, i want to fuck Robb Flynn ;)

Awesome song & fucking band in all!!
