@43NOTE The basic of the song is the meaning behind him being Idolized for who he is in his country, His voice, ect. And how he doesn't want to be idolized. So at the end; he freaks out; breaking out of his shell, to become more than just an "idol" held in grandeur.

Part 2 of the opera (Opera 2 as its well known as), is from my understanding; the premise behind when he "does" want just regular attention, he's ignored.
