This is actually pretty insulting to the audience who is removed from the illusion of the film. The funny thing is that people are actually dumb enough to think that this is some how moral.By this same logic it was actually worse that he pretended(I say pretend because I only call it acting if it features an actual actor) to have a romantic relationship with the female lead. If he was willing to act like he LOVED someone else then a kiss is a drop in the bucket by comparison. I don't buy it.

This is the single most powerful moment in any movie I have ever seen in my entire life! What makes it more powerful is the fact that he kissed his real wife instead of the actress. I love to see the overwhelming change in a persons life when they truly are changed by the power of God's love. Bravissimo! Kirk Cameron!

Many affairs start out in Hollywood from Actors, "getting it on" in the movies. It is a pity. Then they act as if, "oh well, these things happen." Bull. Yeah Kirk, you are the real deal.
I think it's so wonderful that Kirk honored his real wife so much, that for this (only) kissing scene, his real wife was the stand-in & that's who he actually kissed!!!!
What a powerful scene!!!!! Shows what a difference God can make in a life, and the wonderful miracles He can work if we simply do our part and trust Him!!
