Interesting, but it's too distorted (id est fast). You can claim otherwise all you want but you cannot deny that even at "only" 1.5X the vocals are starting to sound "hapsterish."

The speed was multiplied by 1.5x BUT the pitch was also lowered by 2/3. In that sense, it is playing the exact song but only at a faster speed. The pitch was not raised, so there's no way that her voice is even remotely "hampsterish".

I respect your ability to use proper grammar and have decent spelling, but you said that the pitch is 1.5x the tone and it isn't. Thus, I have lost faith in your opinion/credibility.

Only in your opinion. At least it's better than speeding the song up by 2x.

The song actually doesn't sound that much different from the original. Raise the pitch by a pinch, increase the speed by 1.5x, and you've got this song.

With that said, I hope you apologize to The Birthday Massacre for saying that their music sounds strange. :P

Sadly, I don't think it would be safe to send you an mp3 as it essentially came from the original song, which would be sending you an altered copy of the original. So, basically, if you really want this, just get Audacity and make sure you record the song with Stereo Mix selected, not Microphone.

Could you please care to explain yourself? The song is almost exactly same as the original, except the pitch is only raised slightly and the tempo is 1.5x times that of the original. Most people would usually make a song play 2x and make someone sound like chipmunks, but I didn't. Honestly, 2x sounds much weirder--even annoying--than 1.5x but I tried to make this song sound similar to the original.

With that said, I would like to hear your defense on "sounds weird". Thanks.
