@futuremarine246 yes, it is classified as a fixed blade. Fixed blades tend to have much less regulation. The only thing I would question is what blade length you are legally allowed to carry in your state / city. Most places 3" is the standard. Check out AKTI they can probably help you with your local laws.
Just finished watching this review for the second time, love this video but my bank account doesn't. I buy a lot of the knives Nutn reviews, but Kershaw has to be my favorite. Price point is right on and quality is always there. My first Kershaw was scallion and it has grown from there. Keep up the good work Kershaw!!

Spyderco got all my money this year... except for a packrat. how bout some different colors for your handles? a purple blur or scallion maybe? something other than black or orange.
Calling our warranty is always a better option than a trash can. Most of our blades rockwell at 58-59 and we do use some premium steels that get up to 62. Back that with a lifetime warranty and we aren't as terrible as you may think. Just a tip for next time ;0)
i had a kersaw i loved it until i actually put it to work.. i forget what i did but i remeber it was something easy and stupid but i bent the blade.. needless to saw i was pissed as hell i felt the steel strenght was trash so i havnt got once since.. i like there designs tho just wish they were stronger
I couldn't buy a Kershaw 7000 so I bought a SOG Flash II. I was flipping it open while watching a Nutnfancy and it popped out of my hand, stabbed my right leg, flipped and landed point down on my left foot. Apparently there is an artery there. Who knew? Blood started squirting four inches in the air and making a fine mess of the carpet.
Jenn, this is all your fault. How am I supposed to ride the Ducati today? The hole is right where I click the gear shifter.
Tried to buy one of the 7000 autos but they are restricted to Military/police use but realized the spring assist flippers are perfect for what I need.
All of our clips take a Torx-bit #6 , not a hex/Allen, this may be the problem. If you are still having issues after trying the proper T-bit give our customer service a call.
The knife I think you are asking about is at 10:40? If that is the case then that would be our 1790 Turbulence. The knife is a black g-10, A/O, USA made knife.
what i don't like about kershaw is that they mostly make their knives with a tip down pocket clip. I wanted to change it on my Chill (their are drilled holes for the option of changing it) , but all my hex drivers are either too large or slightly too small. sucks balls!
@KnifeJen Do you know if the ripcord is legal for a civilian to own? i'm 18, getting my tax return, and Im gonna buy a mosin nagant and a knife. The three knives are down too the tan blur, the piston, or the ripcord. It'd really help if I knew if there were any special laws concerning the ripcord.

Assisted opening may be considered the same as automatic which is illegal in some places. Something to consider. That could be the reason as well why manual is more popular. I would not want assisted where I live because of the nutty government and assisted is illegal here. You never know how it can be interpreted by the police right or wrong.

I am really starting to dislike assisted opening knives. From my experience assisted opening is the prime ingredient in blade play (at least with SOG knives), plus it just seems less reliable over time. I love a good/smooth manual flick open knife, it's so much more rewarding. Oh and I like the option of flicking open a knife without even touching the stud, can't do that with an assist.
Assist knives IMO are more of a novelty than anything. Great vid though, love the end music.

I have almost the entire kershaw lineup and just got the model 7000 "breakout" in today. Purchased it because of nutnfancy's love for it. It was well deserved. Great blade!! If you were looking to get an auto knife for your edc collection go grab it. Got mine from Blade HQ
THANK YOU KERSHAW! Finally, a company that does a large, tactical assisted opening knife with a FLIPPER. Almost every good branded assisted opening knife I've seen is actuated by the thumbstud- SOG Trident, Aegis, Flash I & 2, Kershaw Blackout, Kershaw Blur, Kershaw Whirlwind, etc.
I know Kershaw has smaller EDC assisted opening folders with flipper assisted openings, but not a 3 1/2" blade and a 5" G-10 machined handle. I think all tatical folders should be flipper spring assisted ;)
It's amazing how some people are more concerned with looking good as opposed to -being- good. Jen did a fantasic job, as it was her job. You don't wear a tux when it's time to work.

I keep on me a limited edition purple Breakout Auto. (7000PURP). I love this knife and it goes with me everywhere! I also keep a little 1002RD clipped on my keys, so that is usually close at all times and there for little tasks when needed.
My other fav's that make a regular appearance are the 1475 Storm that stays in my car and when we go camping or hunting my 0301 tags along.
Why use me you ask? It is very simple, because I can tell you anything about any one of our products. It appears Kershaw thinks that happens to be important to our customers. I am no model by far, I am an everyday working class employee.

Proud owner of a Kershaw Blur. Super happy with it with exception of the tanto blade. I like it but it not very useful for much with exception if poking people.

Hey Nutn, you should look up the CRKT Blue Ripple Assisted Knife. It's a collab between CRKT and Ken Onion. I don't own one so I'm not entirely sure on the quality and all that, but it looks like it would make a good EDC knife.

i got a breakout green handle and love it i just looked for the breakout and you made them go out of stock everywhere i was lucky to get mine the only problem i have with mine is the pivit screw i can turn with my fingers and blade does not center right but it is still amazing

I keep on me a limited edition purple Breakout Auto. (7000PURP). I love this knife and it goes with me everywhere! I also keep a little 1002RD clipped on my keys, so that is usually close at all times and there for little tasks when needed.
My other fav's that make a regular appearance are the 1475 Storm that stays in my car and when we go camping or hunting my 0301 tags along.

Hey Nutn, you should look up the CRKT Blue Ripple Assisted Knife. It's a collab between CRKT and Ken Onion. I don't own one so I'm not entirely sure on the quality and all that, but it looks like it would make a good EDC knife.

i got a breakout green handle and love it i just looked for the breakout and you made them go out of stock everywhere i was lucky to get mine the only problem i have with mine is the pivit screw i can turn with my fingers and blade does not center right but it is still amazing
