and to think i heard this in the amex commercial with diane von furstenberg. i googled "music in the diane amex commercial", and i found this. i bought the album, almost immediately on itunes. i've had multiple ipods since then. i always buy this album first. i feel so blessed to have found this musican. its the small things in life that make you smile. i've fallen asleep to opus 28 so many times....

I don't know Mr. O'Halloran's music very well however I know the work of Glass and Reich as well as other modern minimalist composers and this is very reminiscent of their pieces. I enjoy this song thoroughly and I hope more new, young minimalist composers come into the field of music.

What do you recommend by Reich? I've never heard of him but have highly enjoyed Glass and O'Halloran.

Reich seems to stray away from solo piano minimalist music, or at least anything very similar to this. However Piano phases and music for 18 musicians are his most popular pieces. This piece reminds me greatly of Mad Rush by Glass.
