He was the 1st PG of Spain and made a really good final against J.Kidd and C.Paul playing 30min with only 17yo. Search on Youtube; "Ricky Rubio - Take me out". Last world Cup was the unique PG of Spain (injuries). It´s true that the title of the vid is absurd, but sure that he gonna be special on the NBA. Similar to Pete Maravich.

@Chicolinx He's a nice point guard who has studied the Masters of the game and learned fairly well but he isn't and won't be anywhere near Pistol Pete. He might have a decent career though. Might. In the Olympics he looked slow and without a serious jump shot or at least the threat of shooting off the dribble, he's not going to do much. The only thing he has in common with Pistol Pete is long, shaggy brown hair and big nose. That's it. This doesn't mean he can't play though. He's good.

Rubio is great passer, has nice court vision and he's average at getting to the rim. However his jumper is realy bad - slow, ugly and unconsistent. If he doesn't improve his speed, shooting skills, and strenght he has no chance becoming premiere PG in NBA at near future. For now there are many PG's so much better then him - CP3, DWill, Rondo, Nash, Rose, Baron Davis, Westbrook, Billups and soo much more.

well, he's still young, and after his career in europe, i think he'll be decent in the NBA, his passing is solid and can distribute the ball on the open court, NBA digs that kind of stuff. and ppl talk about his relatively small size and skinny, but looking at steve nash, jason kidd, jennings, nowadays size doesn't really count as much on the guard position, and despite their size, these players can all be tough throughout the game, their court vision and driving does count more.

rubio will have an easier time spotting teammates because the nba game is so spread out but he will have a difficult time creating against more athletic guards. u cant compare rubio to steve nash because nash is a threat every night because of his shooting. nash uses a combination of his quickness, court vision, body positioning and shooting to put up the numbers he always does. if rubio wants to be a steve nash he will have to develop that kind of shooting
