People do this because their parents neglected and/or abused them first so they grew up without the emotional ability to take care of anything. The really sad part of this is that often times the animals are only just the first step because then these people have children and treat then the same way. It's a vicious cycle.

If you can't afford animals don't get them. If you get them be sure you have them spayed and give them medical care, brush their teeth, and love them. If you don't think you can provide medical care for an animal don't get one.
The Humane society can help when you have an animal but you're short on cash.

Damn dont you know if you run out of food for your dog even tho it is not recomended but I have done this a lot of times I will cook food for my dogs instead of letting them go hungry some times giving them my own portion just so they wont be without. there is no excuse to let them go hungry. The Final Solution: Every asshole who does this needs to be made to watch this done to his/her kids and forced to participate. While this is ocurring they should be housed as they have housed the animals they tortured.. They will be told from the start that as soon as their last remaining loved one is dead that they will go through the process themselves. This should be done to everyone and their family members who profit from this. Exterminate the people doing this and their offspring.
i actually adopted a stray dog when it was around 4 weeks old my sis was out with her bf and when he got ot the car to take a leak this black puppy came up and startes sniffing his leg, he thought that its mother was nearby and decided to leave it were it was in case she obandoned it but the puppy followed him back to his car and jmped up onto its lap and wagged its tail.... after that my sis took it round mine and shes now been here for around nearly 4 years and she is the best dog iv ever had

I wonder how many people going on about how horrible this is will happily put poison down for rats? Or buy household products that are animal tested? Its all very well being upset by this, but it seems to be only certain species who get this special treatment. My neighbor took a golf club and hit him in the head, cracked his skullopen and sent him running i called him a fucking dumbass and took that golf club and hit him as hard as i could right in the face and then i ran after him it took a while for him to let me near him but i took a full ham and ran it to him and asked my mom if i could keep him and she said yes. A few years ago, some @ss hole threw a little baby puppy in my ditch smaller than my hand when there was 2ft of ice and it was hailing. What asshole does that. Anyways I wouldnt of noticed her but My mom made me take out the trash and i heard a faint little whine and my heart almost stopped. So i ran as fast as i could and dug in the snow with my hands and pulled her out. I named her lucy (loo-see) I currently have 3 dogs Lucy pibb and bandit. Bandit was rescued from starvation at my house

I have two dogs, both strays. My Pit Bull Buster was found almost dead by the road. He weighed 35 lbs and you could see all of his bones. He couldn't even lift his head. I drove him home (2 hours) and he laid in the back of the car looking at me the whole time. The vet gave him a blood transfsion. When I went to get him the next day he came out of the office and when he saw me he jumped into my arms. That was over 13 years ago when he was 2. I still have him.
Ignorant people give puppie as "presents" to children who can't take care of them. The family doesn't want them and they end up in shelters or just let out as strays to fend for themselves, and they have a life of suffering.

I have always adopted rescue pets. My dogs Red and Fluff came from a woman who didn't get her female fixed so she had pups- most of the pups went to the shelter and were euthanized- the other ones found great homes.
Now I have a beagle- Jodi- she is so hilarious, she was a rescue dog from new york. Before we got her, she was abused, the man who abused her always wore light colors so she used to bark at anyone who wore yellow especially.
Jodi was a stray and the Sheriff brought her to the SPCA

This is exactly why we will only adopt rescues. All ours are (and have been) wonderful friends. Perhaps it's because they are so happy to finally be "home", a place where they are loved and safe. Or perhaps it's just in a dog's nature. Either way we are glad to have their friendship and a chance to spoil them.

Its bull shit that people can treat animals like shit. Dogs are domestic animals we have taken them out of nature and have adapted them to our way of life. These animals cannot defend themselves from us or other animals we need to take responsibility for them and care for them the way they deserve to be taken care of. If you see a stray find it a home don't take it to be euthanize or leave it to suffer in the wild.
Watching this broke my heart cus if ever any of you had a dog you'll know that no matter what, a dog is always happy to see you will always greet you at the door even if your in a bad mood they will always be there for you .... you can always count on them..... The Final Solution: Every asshole who does this needs to be made to watch this done to his/her kids and forced to participate. While this is ocurring they should be housed as they have housed the animals they tortured.. They will be told from the start that as soon as their last remaining loved one is dead that they will go through the process themselves. i actually adopted a stray dog when it was around 4 weeks old my sis was out with her bf and when he got ot the car to take a leak this black puppy came up and startes sniffing his leg, he thought that its mother was nearby and decided to leave it were it was in case she obandoned it but the puppy followed him back to his car and jmped up onto its lap and wagged its tail.... after that my sis took it round mine and shes now been here for around nearly 4 years and she is the best dog iv ever had

I wonder how many people going on about how horrible this is will happily put poison down for rats? Or buy household products that are animal tested? Its all very well being upset by this, but it seems to be only certain species who get this special treatment. If rats were dogs, you'd all be disgusted by the tortures THEY endure daily, but most people don't give a damn about anything except dogs and cats. Its sad.

My neighbor took a golf club and hit him in the head, cracked his skullopen and sent him running i called him a fucking dumbass and took that golf club and hit him as hard as i could right in the face and then i ran after him it took a while for him to let me near him but i took a full ham and ran it to him and asked my mom if i could keep him and she said yes. A few years ago, some @ss hole threw a little baby puppy in my ditch smaller than my hand when there was 2ft of ice and it was hailing. What asshole does that. Anyways I wouldnt of noticed her but My mom made me take out the trash and i heard a faint little whine and my heart almost stopped. So i ran as fast as i could and dug in the snow with my hands and pulled her out. I named her lucy (loo-see) I currently have 3 dogs Lucy pibb and bandit. I have two dogs, both strays. My Pit Bull Buster was found almost dead by the road. He weighed 35 lbs and you could see all of his bones. He couldn't even lift his head. I drove him home (2 hours) and he laid in the back of the car looking at me the whole time. The vet gave him a blood transfsion. When I went to get him the next day he came out of the office and when he saw me he jumped into my arms. That was over 13 years ago when he was 2. I still have him.

I have always adopted rescue pets. My dogs Red and Fluff came from a woman who didn't get her female fixed so she had pups- most of the pups went to the shelter and were euthanized- the other ones found great homes.
Now I have a beagle- Jodi- she is so hilarious, she was a rescue dog from new york. Before we got her, she was abused, the man who abused her always wore light colors so she used to bark at anyone who wore yellow especially.
Jodi was a stray and the Sheriff brought her to the SPCA

This is exactly why we will only adopt rescues. All ours are (and have been) wonderful friends. Perhaps it's because they are so happy to finally be "home", a place where they are loved and safe. Or perhaps it's just in a dog's nature. Either way we are glad to have their friendship and a chance to spoil them.

The humane method is to put them asleep if they are too weak to recover..period! Think about all the tax dollars going to God knows where! They can afford to make large facilities to treat the ones that have a chance, and humanely put down the one's who don't. Animals should have rights! They just run around in circles all day, everyday -until they die of old age

Its bull shit that people can treat animals like shit. Dogs are domestic animals we have taken them out of nature and have adapted them to our way of life. These animals cannot defend themselves from us or other animals we need to take responsibility for them and care for them the way they deserve to be taken care of. If you see a stray find it a home don't take it to be euthanize or leave it to suffer in the wild.

Watching this broke my heart cus if ever any of you had a dog you'll know that no matter what, a dog is always happy to see you will always greet you at the door even if your in a bad mood they will always be there for you .... you can always count on them..... If i catch anyone treating a dog badly or throwing a dog onto the streets then i wont be held responsible for my actions. Anyone who is that sort of cruel person deserves to die...
