Y'know... I think TB may be the most soulful white guy alive today... and watching him sing this with Stevie Wonder in the audience, the OTHER guy that owns this song, I realize that neither one of them have the definitive version of this tune... the DEFINITIVE version is the one they did together at TB's birthday concert. Find it, if you haven't already seen it, it's out here: THE GREATEST DUET OF ALL TIME.
Tony Bennett's greatness is that he sounds the same now as he did 50 years ago. I met Tony about five years ago in Hyannisport, Ma in a restaurant after a concert he did. I think it's safe to say I met the classiest man in show business. I don't have to meet anyone else to compare because there is no comparison.
Even though his voice ain't what it used be, I'm amazed he can still sing and has that much passion and conviction for being over 80 years old! I mean dang, now THAT'S a legend for ya.
WONDERFUL, JUST WONDERFUL!!! i have loved Mr. Bennett for a number of years and have had the honor to have seen him twice in concert. this right here is teh standard to which all others should be measured to!!!!!!!
The master sings at the White House. This former Army combat veteran has done well! God bless Tony!
