for those wondering why animation and not live-action video. I think it's about the pace. The stop - motion technique gives the image a certain rhythm, like everything's moving too fast. Which actually happens because spending a single night with a certain person you like and with no other option is just too...little. Anyone of the two characters would remember the story aftes some years exactly like that. something that finished too fast.

Being an animator myself, I can guess that it must have taken you much more time than only one night to film it all. How long did it take ? The actors must have been pretty tired in the end ^ ^.

Just a few questions : What was the purpose of this technic (making the movie by pictures and not video) ?

Does it serves anything about the storyline, or was it just because you didn't had the money to afford renting a good HD cam (which I could understand, they're damn expensive) and still having a HD rending ? Or is it that you are actually an animator, and wanted to make an animation movie without taking too much time.

A great video rendered bullshit due to the fake stutter, remove effect and stop ppl from puking. If the makers think this effect is some hotshot revolution, they are mistaken. Bourne Supremacy made the same mistake, it is unnatural to simply put a shake filter, thats how you would see it if you were viewing from the wings of a nearby humming bird :(

I liked the story & they do make a good-looking pair but I didn't like the "photo" effect. It's nice if you use it for a single short scene but using it throughout a seven & a half minute video just makes it difficult to sit through.
