Obscura didn't release this demo for you guys to compare it with Cosmogenesis material. Of course it's better than the demo version, but it's always interesting to see where the band & the songs came from originally. That's how i look at these demos.

This version sounds rounder, wider, it is very good, but it sounds a little slow. I like the Cosmogenesis bass line much better. I think if I would have to say which one is better, I would say the Cosmogenesis just because of the bass line but I am also a bassist, I like the quality of this one, but I like the music of Cosmogenesis one and it is mostly the music that counts.

The Cosmogenesis version is much better IMO. This one sounds clearer,  but also simpler, especially on the bass...

@XyzalJunkie agreed, the bass is much more powerfull and leading in Cosmogenesis. Then the solo on this one simply sucks IMO, whereas in the most recent, it is so great.

I actually love the vocals on this version,

the bassline that was changed was changed so much to the better in Cosmogenis.

This version sounds a little more "meaty". I like the bass riff on the other version more though. But there are parts I like a lot more in this version, like when it speeds up after the slow part.
