Because of this video, a good number of people probably think that rottweilers are bad dogs, without even stopping to consider that it was most likely the owner that made it so aggressive.

@falloutfan79 Well probably, yeah, the owner is part of the cause. Still, it's a fact that some dogs like rotts, pitbulls, and the like are bred specifically to kill. Lots of pounds won't even take these dogs; they euthanize them as soon as they get them, no exceptions.

The biggest reason rots and pit bulls have such a bad rep is both breads are thought to be the cool dog for ass holes who want a mean dog to tell every one "look at me, I have a mean dog because I am a cool mean dude". I have had 4 rots and they do require much more training in order to take them pout. If you just keep them with your family they will never bite any one in your family.

@bnjones28 I'm a firm believer in socializing dogs at a young age(within 1st year) Most dogs attack out of fear but if they're well socialized they don't fear people or other dogs etc. You're right about the morons behind the leash, too many people get dogs and they think all they have to do is feed them, either that or they're just too lazy or stupid to train them/socialize them.

Many dogs do not like Negroes. They can sense that Negroes are different than most people. I have had many rots and they are great dogs but are a difficult dog to train. They will protect their family from any one they think might harm and that is where the owner must train the dog not to think any non family is a threat. No one seems to ask the obvious question: why did the dog attack the cop and not anyone else in the vicinity? That's a suburb. There are people all over the area there. Probably kids too.
Obviously the dog wasn't vicious, it was trained to do that. It saw the uniform and attacked. I bet if the cop wasn't in uniform, the dog would have never attacked him.
