Making Elphaba Green!

This is a great Halloween tutorial but it's not how it's done for stage. You need highlights, lowlights, and proper foundation. Stage lights will show every uneven stroke you made with a brush. You would also need a good finishing powder to keep it from running while you sweat.

Um, there's also conturing involved so it's not just flat makeup...

I've been green a lot before, so there's highlighting, shadowing, emphasizing features, etc.

When are schools allowed to perform it? I thought the show had to be off of broadway to do in high school. and how is it a mock haha?

Its a new thing that I came across and its not really a mock and its not the whole show its just key songs in the show and its rewritten for so it really does not give everything away.

If you use the MAC Chromacake in Landscape green, you'll get the right colour for Elphaba, as this is what they use in the show.

What kind of color is it? LIke paint for a painting or make-up paint? where to find such?

green... and the paint of course HAS to be of make-up paint

the painting paint will most likely seep into your skin and do nasty things, so make-up paint, and that might also cause irritation, but that's just because it's always weird have face-paint on

Actually, it's legal to do a few songs from the show. At my school, we did a production with a bunch of different numbers from different shows, and we did Defying Gravity from Wicked. So it's entirely plausible for her to have played Elphaba.

True, you can do a FEW songs (by a few its only legal to do 3 at most unless a choir does the medley) and also when you do that you cant be in costume/makeup so either way I dont believe she did or she did it in a "legal" way.

do you use a waterproof powder to make it so the paint doesn't run if/while she sweets? i need to know if MAC Chromacake in Landscape Green is waterproof or what to use if it isn't

MAC Chromacake is not waterproof, if you set it with powder ans seal it with sealer spray, then it will be water proof.
