Er vel strengt talt Sigmund Groven som har vårsøg!!!

Men alle forbinder den med Henning Sommero.... og, det er Henning som tjener grovt på at den er tema-sang til Nattønske!!! Henning synger jo, Groven spiller orginalen.

Er veldig patriotisk til Surnadal, og ble lei meg da jeg høre den av Rybak! Men, på en annen side, legger han ikke skjul på at det faktisk ER vårsøg Like grusomt var det da multicyde laget en sang med Vårsøg som basis! Vårsøg skal synges på surnadalsdialekta!

...and I also think it might be because this film about the penguins showed the world that they are highly capeable of sustaining love and care. And they really long for each other when they are departed, just as in the song. Alexander has a strong affinity for animals he told (wise guy!) Babeta: Some of vårsøgs lyrics would sound like this directly translated: Now the sun shines, Up in the highest hillside, now the spring comes, i can feel it oh so well . Its about peace, might be some metaphores in there. even if alex mentions spring its not too similar because alex`s lyrics is more about a kind of love affair, while the original speaks about the special feeling of springtime and being thankfull for living threw every summer ..

it is totally different. The original Vårsøg was written in the end of WW2 and that the freedom was coming. Instead of talking about war, he used "the spring is coming"

I come from the same place as the composer, and it makes me proud of beeing from where I am. Our village is now often refered as "The Vårsøg Village" our hotel is now called Vårsøg Hotell and we have almost like a little festival called Vårsøg-weekend sometime in May. Sometimes it gets too much Vårsøg also...

The orginal verson by hans hyldbakk is so much better, I think it was not so good as I hoped it would be, hans hyldbakk's lyricks is way better, if you understand everything. no skin de sol e høgste svealiå...
