@wizzardwand When you adjust the settings it has a picture of a half moon, just click the back arrow so it's a picture of two golden rings, you'll be on endless time. If you don't do that you have a limited time playing. :3

@silverblizzard15 i got sound an music to work but it ruquires dos box which is an emulater that alows WOLF to be played and new computers considering the game was released in 1994 dos box can be found free to download just like WOLF at dosbox . com and when you download WOLF on the download page there is a link to dos box

@EccoTheDolphinLover First you need to become an alpha. Until then, no wolf will want to mate with you. Once you become an alpha, you just simply wait until your mate comes to you. For the timber and plains regions, this will be at the beginning of the ninth month. If your mate is well fed, they're not in need of water, and they aren't limping, then they should come to you wanting to mate. The mating scene is simply the two wolves nuzzling eachother, all goes black, then the two wolves leave.

@FastRockStar25 its actually simple you have to wait till mateing season when you are whatever and 9 months if you choose timber whatever and 0 months for artic and plains is the same as timber on the first day of mateing season only if you are full in hunger and thirst as it says in the manual the alha of the other gender and you little then that little video {like when eating} appears and you will rub heads walk off it ends then wait 3 months and yoou will have puppies

What she means with "9 month" she means the 9 month of the year.So the best and fastest way to get pups is to start in winter.

I'm definately going to join WOLF Online when it comes out ^^. I would try to download this version, but I don't really have the space on my laptop to download much more XD.

I'm more for 'gameplay over graphics' most of the time. The gameplay on this looks more like a challenge and lasts longer than Wolf Quest. Don't get me wrong I like WQ, but it's very glitchy and I found since the update, the preditors aren't really a threat at all, they all run away which defeats the point really XD.

@tigeress915 Yeah Wolfquest is a great game too but it just stops after you finish the mission. Multiplayer isn't that great because of RP, Power Play, and other crap like that. This game goes on and there's a LOT more missions. THIS game is more realistic and more fun.

Its not realistic. Even though it has a wolf and mates and cubs, its not realistic. Yes your wolf dies but it comes back 5 secs later, wow, I bet real wolves do that because thats 'realistic' and 'educational'. There is no consequence for death in wolfquest, unlike WOLF. If you die in WOLF, you dont reappear in five secs, you have to reload a level, and attempt to get as far as you did last tim

Wolf the game is much more realistic than wolf quest - On wolf you cant kill one elk by yourself (which a wolf would not be able to do) and on wolf quest you can (doesn't seem realistic )

@fellbeast1357 Chase after it and after you feel that you are close enough, Click it. If it shows the wolf biting into the camera it means you got it. But if the wolf runs off whimpering it means you missed. After you kill the prey it just poofs into your stomach and your hunger is gone, If it is a buffalo or something it will turn into a carcass on the ground for you to eat or rip pieces off and bury places. To know where something was burried, Smell for a circular dirt area.
