this guy looks soo ripped its amazing. although in this video he does seem smaller than some videos that are from even two months before this one. i could be wrong but it did appear that way. besides that, this guy is ripped lol. he was most definitely an ectomorph, lots of hard work!

@maxbennike Kid there is no 90% of anything you dip shit. It's called have a low body fat percentage so that you can even see your abs. Then Strain yours abs. You feel it in your abs when they have a bursting feeling you know you're doing it right. You don't even have abs so just give up.
@maxbennike well not really to uncover them and let the world see them yes diet but to add mass and hypertrophate the muscle you gotta hit them like you hit any muscle that you want to be bigger and and add resistance viabody weight initally and then actual weight im 6'3'' 197lbs and probaly have a lean mass of about 179lbs or so i found it works for me my bf isn't anything great yet but it will be in the coming months
@wozzers2 Well i can only say i agree. think people misunderstand the meaning of 90% yes the last ten % is straining and working out the abdominal muscle structure. as you say " to add mass and hypertrophate the muscle" that is the 90 % :) ( sleeping eating resting) and good luck with your friends transformation
@maxbennike I'd say its 50/50. You could have 8 percent body fat and little tiny weak abs. Yea you would be able to see them but there wouldn't be much there to see. It takes MUCH more than lack of body fat to have a nice abdominal section. That's why most people don't have them.
@RJRICHES I know in this vid you're probably cutting for a comp but what bf% do you stay at when you bulk? Or do you even bulk as a physique competitor if I'm assuming correctly on what you compete in.

I'm not hating... But gravity is always going against you while using a cable machine... All you do is change the angle of force that you apply to the rope to move the vertical weight stack against gravity.
@poopiiieee Hey there! Are you referring to the "intensity" the wood chop will have on your abs? Because if you are, there are a lot of different way that will affect how you feel the contraction on your abdominals. This could include rep range, range of motion, number of sets, and how hard you push yourself during the exercise. But at the end of the day, its always good to give your body variety. Try incorporating all three styles of wood chops in your training program. Hope this helps!

@cr7davidd Your an idiot man, I'm a personal trainer as well and he did the exercises with perfect form. It only looks like he moved his arms due to the angle of the camera. Ofcoarse you can do it with more movement in your abs but the purpose AS he STATED was to focus on the BREATHING and technique which is very important when working the abs. Just because someone doesn't use the same form that you do doesn't mean they're wrong either.
@cr7davidd Dude, He explained in the video Not to move the hips. I'm sure you realise that when you keep the hips fixed during a cable chop movement you end up moving your entire upper body with just your obliques. Even the range of motion completed using the arms is working the obliques. If you tried the exercise without moving your hips you would do the exact same form. I don't see why it's so hard for you to understand?

I do prefer Scott Herman's version of the wood chopper for my Obliques and Abs.
Only rotating using your core to pull the weight focuses the exercise on the targeted area.

@callumslim94 Well there's one thing that I can't tell because I know I will meet him again in real life and he is reading every comment. But 1 thing is that he used Scott Herman's name in his video tags. So that everybody whom searched for Scott Herman also came out on his videos.

@laurenssius you have to be kidding? Did you look at his preparation for the WBFF? Using Scott Hermann as a tag is truly smart; more people should know who Rob Riches is. Jealousy is nothing to be proud of laurens!!

And since u want to make it personal, I'm not jealous by all means. His body is achievable for me in a couple of years so why should I be jealous? I'm studying Physical therapy right now so I will know everything I want to know about the body in a few years too. It's great that he inspires people and I still like him as a person. but he isn't going to be able to tell me anything new.

@laurenssius lol, you have no idea how natural bodybuilding comps work do you. You get drug tested many times before and after comps and lie detecter tests. Rob doesnt take and edit his videos and because hes BUSY living the celebrity life in LA . So no i doubt hes got time to sit down and read all our comments. Just because you cant get a body like his doesnt give you the right to say that its impossible to do naturally. Stop hating.

@johnafer lol, I don't even want his body, I want to go much much further then what he has. But that's personal taste. And I know I will have to use something for that, I don't care. It's my life and I will enjoy it as much as I do with or without roids. + I think you don't know how comps work, he isn't a member of an federation so he doesn't get tested in ''off season''. And some hormone roids are untrackble anyway. That said, he could have used something when he was 20.

@johnafer But I was rude, I'm sorry for that. He could be natty but very few believe him. I don't hate btw. I've met him a couple of times, I just don't like him. And I don't want to go around and spam every video that he has with saying how much he has changed. Just saying my thoughts. That's what the comment section is for :-)
