Considering how subjective this kind of list is, I'm always amused by the "Where is X?!?" responses that tend to fill the comment section. I like Eluveitie and Wolfchant as much as the next viking-obsessed metal nerd, but it's not like they occupy some special place where they HAVE to be on every list. Oh, and I love the top 2 picks, btw.

I think that terms like "Folk Metal" are often not used in the right sense, especially here... However, one of the most genuine folk (in the sense of nature-related) metal groups are surely Korpiklaani (when they're not singing about drinking). Týr have little to do with it, though I have never heard a more genuine Norse music in the metal genre; they truly bring forth the soul of Scandinavian Europe.
