@BIockbusterz you know in top spin 2, the square button is for 'slice', the circle button is for 'top spin', the x button is for 'normal groundstroke' and the triangle button is for 'lob'..so when your opponent presses the triangle button (lobs), you can smash...but there isn't any particular button for smash

great video, good game, but top spin always makes stupid stats for the actual players. Maria is lightning fast -- faster than Venus. Are you joking me? In top spin 1, Martina Hingis was basically a Serena Williams power player. Hewitt was a power player as well. :death:

If anyone here doesn't know this tip on this game better try it,here's the tip: hold button LT then there's a yellow thing that would appear near your player then press button A or B when ever the line hits the top of it then release the buttons, that will add more power and speed on the ball but it needs timing though,it would be better if you would do this if your stamina is full,it is located on top of the screen on the game,and also the same on the service.

the game is wrong in the footwork of venus...

the williams' foot stance are almost same in forehand and backhand... open legs... they dont moe their right leg to left side when swinging a backhand.. watch them again...

Footwork and motions are the same for all the players in the game... service motions are the ones that do change depending on the player...

sorry i just saw this reply and i have to reply back. i know it's been 1 year but here it goes... the williams sisters have a different stance compared to others when hitting a backhand. they employ what we call an "open stance." they don't cross over their right leg to hit a backhand. watch their vids and compare their backhand stance with the likes of Martina Hingis or whoever

Well this game had no motion capture of the real players Virtua tennis 3 has Venus down pack the guy below (mihaicin) hes so worried about the diving that goes on in the game (if you suck and dont know how to set up the ball) that he sees through the signature moves of each character. In Vt3 each character has a unique serve and groundstroke just like real life pros this game fails on that miserably topspin 2 is a joke
