  • I just came upon your video, am admiring the dry twist too, but are you transitioning or you just wanted to do your hair in this particular style? I'm transitioning (5 months), so that's why am curious, thankie :)

  • @Caribe22 I'm natural and just wanted to do something different. I've since perfected my dry twists. When I was transitioning I did a lot of roller sets and bantu knots. It worked for me until I was ready to BC. Thanks for commenting and hope you are a subscriber!

  • @TiffyStacey Yep.. i've subbed already ;) Question... (new to these terms).. but what is bantu knots, and how do you do them?

  • @Caribe22 Thanks for subbing! Bantu knots are where you twist (usually a two strand) your hair and twist it around itself...which in turn creates knots. You can secure them with bobby pins or something else. Later you take them out and it's supposedly creates a curly afro. Just search youtube or google 'Bantu Knots'. I've never done a video b/c I haven't done bantu knots recently. Hope that helps.

  • @TiffyStacey - I've seen someone (now as you have described it) done Bantu Knots on braids (makin a knot at the end with the hair itself), thanks beautiful. Stay sweet.

  • @dkblck1958 LoL yeah I get down when it's late! I have too much fun! thanks for the compliment!

  • gurl u r having too much fun doing the long john dance....lol.....love love love the hair

  • DID AN AWESOME JOB LOOKS GR8T! DO YOU THINK IT WAS THE FLAX SEED THAT GAVE YOU THE HANG TIME? THE HAIR IS MOVING BOUNCY :)

  • @LadyYasB Thank you girl!! Actually, I think it's a combination of the flax seed and shea butter. I think the shea butter helps weigh my hair down better and the flaxseed holds the shape. I love flaxseed b/c it doesn't make my hair stiff & lifeless...the nutrients in it replenishes my hair.

  • Lmao! Girl that was too funny! Love the twistout! :D

  • @qchelle2008 LoL, I try to have fun on my channel. But yeah. thank you for the compliment!

  • Love the hair.Looks great!. I am currently transitioning w/o the BC so I still have straight ends. Do you think this would work for me? Thanks

  • @lulu13hb Oh yeah definitely go for this look! But I would take the roller all the way up the hair instead of halfway...b/c the two textures will blend better. I also did Bantu Knots when I was transitioning, so you may want to try that. Thank you for the compliment!

  • Love the dry twist out! Lol! Did you blow it our first? Girl your crazy! I love it!

  • @clknla Thanks! No i didn't blow it out. I just combed my hair before I twisted it.

  • Awww cute twist out Tiffy, amazing how fast your hair is growing out, It looks good on you! :)

  • @eyerize37 thank you...I almost want to cry b/c it's taken me so long to get it to a really healthy state. But I'm so glad you all have gotten a chance to see my progression. Just goes to show you, black girls can GROW HAIR! thanks so much for following me on this journey!
