Just got my nano delievered today and boy I'm I impressed. Its much more than I expected quite frankly!!! Its surprisingly spacious from inside, the engine's smooth, the torque was pretty satisfactory and the best thing of all is its easy parking. I from Delhi, India where the raods have turned into a virtual paking lots these days, this car trust me comes in real handy when it comes to city driving and parking mess...

For that price, you can't get one in a country like Britain, because you wouldn't have the required safety features. It's actually about $7,100 (idk what that is in pounds). For that price, I could buy a used car that has a trunk (or boot) with the gas tank securely in the back, rather than under the passenger seat. The Hype = India is mostly a country where people can't afford to own a car, so they have to use bikes, motorbikes, rickshaws, trains etc., to get around. Owning a car revolutionized North America after the Model T Ford, opening opportunities for people to move around easier, this will do the same.
Also, the price is dirt cheap, so this may influence other manufacturers around the globe to cut the cost of car production (maybe not as cheap as this).

I agree a lot of peopel afre afraid to buy used and this will get a lot of people in a new car. I think 0-60 in about 15 seconds will be possible. Remember its a 33 hp engine and if it comes to america itll need about 70 like the Smart As long as it gets 40 mpg itll do fine.

For that price, you can't get one in a country like Britain, because you wouldn't have the required safety features. It's actually about $7,100 (idk what that is in pounds). For that price, I could buy a used car that has a trunk (or boot) with the gas tank securely in the back, rather than under the passenger seat. I can see it being great for countries like India or places in southeast Asia, but Britain...seriously?
