Hello @kittleboy I am sorry you had a negative experience applying for a visa. Your experience seems a bit unusual. Your stated reason for why you have to come back home doesn't sound like a very convincing one or one that is related to your studies, not because of fear of a fine or jail. It would be hard to put you in jail if you didn't return home. If you do decide to try again, please contact one of our EducationUSA Advising Centers in India to get some better preparation for your interview.

I have a doubt here!

If I am an immigrant, don't you think I need to reapply for immigration or at least do something about it!

How am I supposed to stay in US and live my life after my education when I'm not allowed?

I'm sorry, but the truth is it's not easy because it's not FAIR!

I was rejected!

the officer didn't ask for any document.

I told him I have to immediately get back to my country after I finish my study because I have loan on my name and one more important thing that if don't come back, I may go to jail for even one month and have to pay fine for coming back later than 10 days!

but at the end, he said, NO, I think you are an immigrant

It's just unbelievable! what else was he expecting me to show
