In the game there are text messages that come through Zack's phone. Not directly, but we find out that Lazard is the illegitamate son of the President Shin-Ra. Lazard wants revenge against the company. This is why he goes missing during Chapter 7.

You know, this has got to be the biggest tease for a FFVII remake yet, lol. I wouldnt mind it at all if it played like Crisis Core or Kingdom Hearts or FFXII. Or hell, just play it like it did before, just give us a revamped FFVII (like make you HAVE to get vincent and yuffie for the plot since both got bigger parts in the sequals) and go into greater detail with story elements.

Or atleast give us a final sequal, i mean the secret DC ending just leaves too many questions.

As far as the Secret Ending is concern in DoC, it has something to do with Genesis being released to fight a new Evil. This means, Genesis is a good guy in the new sequel; that is, if there will even be one.

there are 3 files that you need to get in the game to get the extra ending.. and there is one in Ch 8 of the game... which i cant seem to get for some reason

and do you have any links.. or could you tell me what to search for, i've tried looking before but i didnt find anything
