Yes its a custom grind. Mine is a comp cam. The heads are ported/polished and milled. Other than that there is no motor work done as far as bottom end or anything. Of course I upgraded valvesprings, lifters, timing chain, oil pump, etc... I have a FAST 92/92 setup now as well.

when the rear panel is painted black like that, it's called the "Berger panel". Authentic "Berger" Camaros came that way from the Berger Chevrolet dealer in North Carolina. bad ass huh.
I've done so many mods to my SS and i think that i have reached the point when a heads and cam upgrade like yours is what will keep my juices flowing. LOL! btw, is it true that the job cost in excess of $2,000? after parts and labor?

The fuel economy is all in the tune man. I know of guys who make 400 horsepower and get better than stock gas mileage...
