  • Hey guys,

I have been vegan for a couple of months now and have done extensive research into pros and cons before deciding. I don't mind if any of you have any questions as long as they are productive and genuine. And i will back up every point with scientific research from reliable sources to prove i'm not talking a load of crap.

But would be great to hear what your opinions are, along as it not just abuse

    Cheers :)

  • @lloydedwardsmusic

Would these include actual scientific research and not that BS that fanatics try to pass off as the "truth" when really they're just using half truths and shock tactics to manipulate people?

  • @Bluebelle9289

Yes, i made sure that they where factual and from reliable sources. Had to filter through a lot of bullshit ha

But i understand why a lot of meat eaters get frustrated, i have seen a lot of vegans preach like it is some sort of religion. But personal i can say i feel much healthier from it, and being vegan makes it so much easier getting your 5 or more a day.

  • @lloydedwardsmusic

    And I give you kudos.

  • First off, there is a difference between Vegetarianism and Veganism, I can handle most Vegetarians as I have friends who are vegetarians, but most Vegans I know are extremely annoying, and above all else, preachy. People like Oninioson or whatever the fuck his name is piss me off to no avail/

  • @AdoublesLdouble

You seem to have a small reading problem.

  • vegans are pussies, humans are animals....simply put, we eat meat.

  • @StaindandDisturbed

We eat meat but that doesn't mean we have to. We evolved as omnivores but in this day we don't all need to eat meat. It would actually benefit the human race to cut back on their meat intake and update their plant intake.

  • Vegans get so much stupidity thrown at them on a daily basis I'm not surprised they resort to sarcasm, it sure beats explaining yourself over and over.

  • @robensemble

The thing is, when they resort to stuff like "sarcasm", it just makes veganism look more and more stupid and it makes vegans look like brats. If vegans are supposed to be "better" than everyone else, then they're doing a bad job at it.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I didn't realise we were getting paid. I feel ripped off! Which union do I report to?

  • Ok, when I saw the title and read the first comments I was like, ok, another narrow minded youtuber with no life's attempt to make a video. But apparently, it wasnt like that. I only wanted to say that the first video in which yours is a reply was supposed to answer like that in order to be somehow funny (no matter if it failed or not). So, the answers you suggest here are tottaly correct and I agree with you, but they're just too serious, no funny :( :P

  • @wkskfk

Some find them funny, it depends on how you look at them, but everyone's got a different sense of humor.

  • @Bluebelle9289 While some don't have one at all.. Anyway, I agree with you, no big deal.

  • The point of this video is kinda obvious, though apparently not so much to some. She wasn't telling people that they should or should not be vegan. She was pointing out why another video was extremely biased, as well as why some people follow a likewise belief. There is a split point in this. The first is to point out that not all vegans are ignorant enough to believe they are god's gift to the world for not eating animals.Essentially stating "we are not all like this."

  • It seems like your making the point out to be vegans are stupid. Not ALL vegans say things like that, just like not ALL meat eaters say things like that. how about 10 stupid things meat eaters eat on a daily basis?? We'll add this video to one of them. :)

  • @volleywilsonsophia

Watch the video again, and this time pay attention. Also, read what's in the description box.

  • Honestly i like this video, it's honest and unbiased.

  • @Orgysauce

    Thanks.

  • @Orgysauce Like FOX news.

  • so the morel of the story is....dont be stupid?

  • You don't have to like or even hang out with other vegans in order to "convert."

  • @laurenvvegan

    You've missed the point.

  • I'm a vegan based on my lifestyle, but I hesitate to call myself one because in my experience, a vast majority of vegans are truly ignorant and childish. They rarely want to actually question their beliefs or actions, just like many meat eaters won't. Anyone who thinks they are truly "better" people because they are vegan are delusional hypocrites.

  • Everyone forget just eating meat and just eating plants! Both are good to eat and they are BOTH living things, but people need to eat stuff to live. If someone does not want to eat a living thing, go eat rocks!

  • @Lucifera4

Not a good answer. Some people really can't eat just plants. For example, Bryce Dallas Howard was a vegan for years, including through her pregnancy but during her pregnancy she developed a rare condition that makes the amino acids in meat critical to her health. If she doesn't eat meat she could die.

Also, the "go vegan" line just drives more people away from going vegan, which hurts your cause. You're like those Christians who say "turn to Jesus or go to hell."

  • @Bluebelle9289 I was only stating that both animals and plants are living things, it does not matter which people eat, they still keep people alive. There is no cause here.

  • @Lucifera4

Instead you should be encouraging people to eat less meat, giving honest facts about eating animal products - not those lies typical fundie vegans tell - and encouraging the end of factory farming in place of local free range farms.

  • @Lucifera4

Next, here's a little math problem for you, how many animals would be harmed and or killed in the process of growing fruits, veggies and grains for a population of 7 billion humans and counting?

    Take your time.

  • @Bluebelle9289 How do you know if plants are not harmed during the process? They do not scream? They are still living things. Some of them may not want to die.

  • @Lucifera4

Plants don't have feelings. Not real "feelings." They react to stimuli. If you stomp on a plant or burn it, it will react, although it's not the same reaction you'd get if you stomped on a pig or burned a dog. The plants lack the nervous system needed to feel pain on the same level as animals do.

  • @Bluebelle9289 Even if they didn't have 'real' feelings, what makes it good to kill them (besides eating them) and not animals?

  • @Lucifera4

Because some people only believe it's wrong to eat animals.

  • @Bluebelle9289 That does not make it true. It is wrong to kill any living thing, no matter if they can feel it or not.

  • @Lucifera4

But then one would ask the question of why it's okay for other animals to kill and eat other animals but it's not okay for humans to do it.

  • @Lucifera4

Tell that to a lion or bear, fuckwit.

  • @Bluebelle9289 @Bluebelle9289 It is understandable if it is for food, if no animals were killed for food, they would just add to the population of this world, which is already too much of one species itself. Everything dies eventually.

  • @Lucifera4

Humans are the only species of which there is too much of. Meanwhile other species are rapidly decreasing because of humans and human overpopulation.

Everything dies but that doesn't mean they've got to die quickly, even if it is to become food.

  • @Bluebelle9289 If humans weren't 'illegal' to kill and eat, more people may start eating them. That would reduce the population and could help the other species survive.

  • @Lucifera4

What would reduce the human population reduce is allowing nature to take its course if a human gets sick. What would help reduce the human population is more advocation for birth control.

  • @Bluebelle9289 So people should let nature do what it wants, it is natural for things to eat other things. Some animals are even endangered, but if they are 'supposed' to die, who are we to change that? Let things eat what they want, death is inevitable for all living things anyway.

  • @Lucifera4

    You've completely missed the point.

  • @Bluebelle9289 So vegetarians just want less animals to die? Why is that? They are food too! You can just eat whatever you want, it doesn't matter anyway, as I said before. All living things will die eventually.

  • @Lucifera4

And as I said before, you've completely missed the point.

  • You're a fuckin idiot - A vegan

  • @sbattison

Great way to show people what kind of people you'll be associating with if you go vegan. *heavy sarcasm intended.*

  • Who made this ridiculous video? I mean come on... 6.01 is a total missguidance. which other living being drinks ANOTHERS ANIMAL MILK??? and in a adult age? NO OTHER ANIMAL! the capitalistic farmers MADE THAT UP!!!

  • @HigherOfTheGround

"the capitalistic farmers MADE THAT UP!!!"

    According to what evidence?

    "6.01 is a total missguidance."

It's only a "missguidance" if you haven't done your research and don't understand basic science and nutrition, which you clearly don't.

  • Agreed....people have to decide to go vegan or otherwise on their own- the only thing you can do to help the cause is to help educate with facts about your subject! Great video!

  • @pamelaschm2

    Thanks.

  • Your flaw is that all protein is the same. It is not!

  • @clergame

I never said that all protein was the same. You did.

  • Cows need to be milk because humans steal the calves from the cows. Cows are milked to steal the calf's food. Cows simply do not produce milk like that unless they are with calf, but in the case of humans we have raped the cow to impregnate her unnaturally then stolen the calf to get her to artificially produce milk that we then steal. This is like a bank robber saying he needs to rob the bank so that he can remove the guns from the tellers' faces. How are lies to people "their own terms?"

  • @FathomlessJoy

Yeah, come back when you've done some actual research and work on your comparisons.

  • @Bluebelle9289 FathomlessJoy won't ever present anything BUT a stupid argument that's just misinformation and propaganda.

Anyone that says: "in the case of humans we have raped the cow to impregnate her unnaturally then stolen the calf to get her to artificially produce milk that we then steal." is obviously clueless and doesn't understand that milk is produced simply from a demand for it. Human mothers do it all the time, as do other animals.

    Raping indeed. Moronic argument

  • @LCHFinCanada

    Quite.

  • Guess what? PETA actually video tapes animals they torture, just to say that this is what happend to animals we eat. PETA kills more animals than it saves.

  • @TapionPinosha

Not that the PETA supporters care, especially the celebrity supporters.

  • This really made me sad! I cried! I'm still crying! i wish that vegans everywhere could be more excepted by people. But we aren't. Even animals in the wilderness are not are friends anymore. I was eating a salad and a dog bit my ankle and i was like "im a vegan" but i guess animals, though they are divine creatures, don't know the woes of being a vegan! You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Doesn't the bible say "As a deer thirsts for water so my soul thirsts for you? God loves dears!

  • @dfish2077

God also loves bacteria but he hasn't stopped anyone from coating table tops with lysol.

Vegans are accepted by people, most of them, but people prefer to avoid the fanatical vegans - which is who this video response is directed to.

  • @dfish2077 So because it is mentioned in the bible, it means god loves that thing? There is also satan mentioned. And animals don't treat you better for being vegan, & do not understand human speech. Animals are not divine, you idiot, because humans are animals. I'm not very divine. You are an idiot. Idiots like you & PETA are exactly why we hate vegans.

  • Bluebelle please understand that I also can't abide cruel treatment of the animals in factory settings. If you would just WATCH FOODINC you would see that they compare factory farming to family owned and how differently the animals are treated. Trying to get you to do this is like trying to get my Dad to watch a movie that was made later than 1945! Please just watch it!

  • @dolittleskippy

"I also can't abide cruel treatment of the animals in factory settings."

And you're assuming I can? Pretty ignorant of you.

I'm not going to watch a film that gives out false information. You don't get people to listen to you by telling lies and being manipulative.

  • If you really want to state a case for not eating meat or factory farmed milk have people watch "foodinc" on youtube. It shows how the milk has pus in it from the sick cows and how the processed meat has feces and other nasty stuff mixed in. Also the animals are treated horribly and it sure makes a person think twice before buying a steak or hamburger or pork. Enough said.

  • @dolittleskippy

No because that video doesn't reflect the majority of farms - factory or free range. It's a generalization and it's ignorant to use that kind of propaganda to manipulate people with.

  • @Bluebelle9289 When you say "No" do you mean no, you won't watch it, or no, you HAVE watched it and it it incorrect? Not sure what you mean.

  • @dolittleskippy

No I won't watch it because 1) It's incorrect. It's incorrect because it tries to portray factory farms as being the majority of farms when they're not. It's nothing but propaganda. 2) I won't watch it because most likely it will be the same as every other factory farm documentary I've seen - made for shock value with very little good information attached.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I think that is narrow minded of you. Foodinc covers a lot more than just farms. And, fyi, I lived in Arkansas and worked at a family owned dairy for some time. I lived surrounded by chicken houses and turkey farms and I know what I am talking about. The chicken and turkey farms are EXACTLY the way they are portrayed in the video and the dairy farms are not. The BEEF factories and PORK factories are what are bad and if you want to post stuff here you should at least get educated!

  • @dolittleskippy

The only one being narrow-minded at the moment is you. Unless you've visited every farm and spoke with every farmer, to portray factory farms as farming as a whole is narrow-minded, inaccurate and dishonest.

  • @Bluebelle9289 Well, not trying to fight here, but have you done that? You don't seem to understand that a lot of our meat comes from factories that have opened in Mexico because the laws are lax and it's cheaper to produce there. Please just have an open mind and watch the documentary. THEN let's debate the issue

  • @dolittleskippy

I understand just fine. What you don't seem to understand is that trying to pass off a film that portrays factory farming as farming as a whole is dishonest and ignorant.

  • @dolittleskippy @dolittleskippy So in banning meat, you will make hundreds of factory workers with families lose their jobs, & their children will die. you are saving chickens, but killing children. If you say "whatever" or make an excuse involving sad chickens, then you either hate Mexicans, hate children, or just plain hate all humanity for being naturaly omnivore.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I think I need to make myself clear here. I am not a vegetarian and am NOT trying to put down people who eat meat. I am trying to warn against tainted meat. I used to love hamburgers and bacon and still would except that I have developed an allergy to BOTH. There is SOMETHING in it now that didn't used to be there and I break out in hives anytime I eat ANY meat other than chicken or fish. WHY? I suspect it has to do with the way it's all processed now that there are more factories

  • @dolittleskippy

"I am trying to warn against tainted meat."

You're not doing a very good job.

  • peanuts are a great source of protein and his is from a guy who loves cheeseburgers and italian sausage. And as you guessed I love peanuts, I eat 'em as much as I can when I can. Best kind of nut ever! Shame that so many people can be allergic to them.

  • @NUTCASE71733

Yeah, but that's why there are other good sources of protein like the lentils and beans, soy also has protein but it's also a common allergy like peanuts.

  • @Bluebelle9289

I suppose it may be a particular reason more people eat meat in this case. Especially since some meats have some nutrients that can't be found in plants. Plus our caveman ancestors' dependance on meat was what ultimately gave us our large brains since early man needed to figure out how to bring down large prey without a set of jaws like a wolf's or lion's. Good thing that today we can have a balanced omniverous diet by comparison to our early ancestors.

  • @NUTCASE71733

Yeah, but the fanatical vegans consider allergies to be an excuse used by omnivores to avoid going vegan. It just means that not everyone is meant to nor can everyone be vegan. Bryce Dallas Howard was a vegan for years but she developed a rare condition during her pregnancy that makes the amino acids in meat critical to her health. If she doesn't eat meat she could die. I'd like to hear the fanatical vegans explain how that happened with her on a vegan diet.

  • @Bluebelle9289

I'd like to hear that too so I could laugh at their stupidity.

  • @NUTCASE71733 @Bluebelle9289 the majority of allergies to legumes and nuts are from the anti-nutrients, the natural preservatives to keep the "keep" from being decomposed before its ready to sprout. Therefore soaking or sprouting seeds/nuts/legumes is a MUST before eating them.(also breaks down complex compounds/carbs/proteins/fats into simpler forms). Soy should only be eaten if fermented or well sprouted, otherwise it releases harmful estrogen's in the body.

  • @Swansen03

And you got that from where?

  • @Bluebelle9289 "keep" should have been "seed" but, got what from where? this isn't some "new age" thing ether, people used to do this all the time, as well as indigenous tribes, but its also one more step in the food process in this time of instant gratification.

  • @Swansen03

Where did you get your information from? Where is your source(s)?

  • @Bluebelle9289 a lot of places, i'll message you because youtube doesn't allow links. if you go to the website "pearltrees" and forward slash swansen then open the "lifestyle and eating your health" all of the links are in there(best i can do for links in comments)

  • @Swansen03 Estrogen is the female sex hormone idiot.

  • @NUTCASE71733

    I think they meant "phytoestrogens."

  • love this vid and WOW!! I love my Sushi and Steaks!!YUUUMMMMM!!!!

  • Man, I love hotdogs

  • This video was funny

  • It seems to me that the people who would go vegans are the ones who would see straight through your useless arguments. So, plants react if stepped on. A lot of inanimate objects will react if stepped on, e.g. mud will splat. So what?

  • @marcluc1988

It seems to me that you didn't pay attention.

  • both omnivores and vegetarians/vegans say stupid things. like I don't ask vegetarians stupid questions but I know alot of omnivores do. but vegetarians and vegans aren't much better. you see plenty of vegans making videos about omnivores being stupid and saying stupid things when they are just as bad.

  • @adjam1991

Did you even watch the video?

  • @Bluebelle9289 yeah. why?

  • @adjam1991

    Your comment says otherwise.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I though your video was about vegans saying stupid things

  • @adjam1991

So you didn't watch the video.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I did but that's what I got from watching it as well

  • @adjam1991

The video was a response to the stupid things the other, veganveganveganvegan, said in their video. It's not about vegans saying stupid things. Try to pay attention next time.

  • @Bluebelle9289 what do you mean?

  • @adjam1991

Your comment makes it sound like you didn't watch the video at all. You only looked at the title.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I did watch it but isn't that what it's about? that's what I seemed to get

  • We are meant to be herbivores. Some of the largest (and wisest) animals in the world are (even were) herbivores. This includes Gorillas, horses, elephants, even the Alamosaurus. What does this mean? When we were first evolving (or however you want to put it) we probably just saw a few carnivores doing what they do best. Then we figured "Oh wait, thats us too!" and boom. Notice how must herbivores have mostly flat teeth? :) Explain that. Btw - "My body will not be a tomb for other creatures. "

  • @RefBoost

You're going to need to do a lot more research and come up with a better argument. You don't seem to know too much about what you're talking about. Also, gorillas aren't 100% herbivorous.

Also, if humans are supposed to be herbivores then why do we have canines in additon to flat teeth? You claim humans are meant to be herbivores but you haven't explained how or why. Again, go back and do some more research.

  • @Bluebelle9289 Gorillas are herbivores. If you don't count the telescopic insects that they can't even see when they are intentionally eating plants and fruits, then they are 100% herbivores. We've been eating meat for a few thousand years now. I think canines would definitely be needed to chew it, therefore we evolved. You claim we are natural omnivores by what we are NOW. Do not do this, please do research! Our bodies have evolved. Get your information from the BEGINNING, not the present. :)

  • @RefBoost

Gorillas, mainly Eastern lowland gorillas, eat insects. So no, they are not 100% herbivorous. Know your facts before you start distorting them.

Biologically, and historically, humans are omnivores. Just because some humans can get by without animal products doesn't mean it applies to the whole species. We evolved as omnivores, it will be a long while before we evolve to be actual herbivores.

  • @RefBoost

Why don't you go and invest some cash in some college courses, and visit your local library. Educate yourself.

  • @RefBoost

There are plenty of overweight vegans. Also, there's no evidence that says that vegans will live longer. All evidence shows that vegans live for the same amount of time that omnivores do. When you've educated yourself, then I'll take you a little more seriously.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I'm sorry for being a smartass, but have you seen "all the evidence"? And what evidence do you mean exactly? It all depends on the individual itself. Healthy/well eating vegan vs. overweight meat eater who eats 4 double cheeseburgers a day? And of course the other way around. Evidence also shows that vegetarian/vegan diet is in fact, healthy.

Anyway, have a nice day. :3

  • @pikkunemmi

    Your evidence is bogus.

  • @pikkunemmi

Come back when you've educated yourself and seen a nutritionist.

  • @Bluebelle9289

Looks like you don't believe in education. Sad.

  • @Bluebelle9289 go and eat an uncut apple without your front teeth

  • @Kawagandalf

That's the best you can come up with?

  • We are omnivores however we had a very carnivores past. Before the invention of modern farming most fruits and legumes bore less edible "flesh" if you will. They were in other words much smaller and more scarce. We evolved as hunter gatherers. Thus in our biological history we are omnivores with a carnivores inclination. Many peoples still have archaic "carnivores" diets.

  • excellent response to stupid questions, and excellent response to the stupid responses given to the stupid questions.

  • @DeeDemonwitch

    Thank you.

  • I think there's a mistake in your title. Do you mean 'say' or 'hear' ?

  • @Al1981X

    No, no mistake.

  • @Bluebelle9289 I'm confused. It says 'hear' at the start of the video. It seems unclear what you mean. Or maybe it'sjust me :)

  • @Al1981X

The video I'm responding to is "Top 10 stupid things vegans hear on a daily basis" and the title of my video is "Top 10 stupid things vegans say on a daily basis" because everything said in the original video is just as stupid as the things they claim that vegans hear on a daily basis.

  • @Bluebelle9289 Ah, now I get it I'll watch it through. Didn't realise it was a response. al x

  • @Al1981X

    That's alright. Enjoy the film.
