Work as a waitress for $3 dollars an hour? Have a government that allows ONE man to veto any bills HE doesn't like and no matter how low his approval rate is , you can't get rid of him? nathanstan, I do understand, the U.S. is a country of opportunity. But do you do with those who don't get any opportunity. I am not talking about Europeans or aliens (e. g. Mexicans), I am talking about poor American people ort he weakening middle class (those paying the txaes for the Iraq war) ? Should these 2 groups continue to be ignored for 4 years more?

Dieguitoberlin, I personally know many American's who started from nothing who came from poverty or middle class who are now great success stories. American government provides the tools for those who want success but it is up to each individual to take those tools and get an education, find opportunity and work hard to be a success. Anyone, even legal immigrants can live the American dream. No one is ignoring these people and they do just fine and don't complain. I'm an American, I know.

Alguru, The rest of the world would not exist if it was not fot the U.S. English is the language of international business because the U.S. is extremely successful and folks overseas want to do business with us. What many outside the U.S. is sick of is the fact that the U.S. is a work in progress that has so far been successful, even with its bugs. I don't see boat loads of U.S. Citizens leaving the continent for France of Thailand. You need to wake up!

Alguru, Vote for Obama and you'll have no money to go to any restaurant, and expect restaurants to close because of planned tax hikes. Imagine if Obama won the White House: He'll have Steak and Eggs for breakfast on a Sunday morning while you'll be clipping more and more coupons like never before. He'll take your tax dollars and redistribute your wealth to his voter blocks that don't want to get off their fat asses and work. He calls it "Fairness," I call it a national disgrace.
