  • Poor Freddie....

  • did you even practice this or did you just sit down and start reading and playing .....omg if you did dude omg omg that was sooooo fuckin awesome

  • nice job! this song is definitely on my "to do list" ;)

  • Great job!

  • I see you've had a visit from the "Ragtime Police" about your playing. I would suggest you ignore them and carry on doing exactly what you're already doing which is very pleasant to listen to.

  • @PianoFatso I agree. Joplin generally did not put a tempo indication on his compositions. I think whether it's fast or slow - as long as it is musically pleasing is all that matters. Imagine how boring the world would be if everyone played this piece at 72bpm, or Maple Leaf Rag at 120.. :-)

  • You should try to play Easy Winners, The Entertainer or Maple Leaf Rag. All great songs of Joplin !

  • Should indeed be played slower.

You're not looking at your hands at all ?! that's pretty amazing stuff right there

  • not bad, but play it a little slower, between 65 and 72 bpm. Joplin wrote this piece for his first wife, its a slow intermezzo. sounds like youre having difficulty in the c minor section a little. keep practicing, and youll have it good

  • nice i'm taking lessons and i'm learning to play this song now, this really helped me give an idea of wha it should sound like (=

  • @lolforpokemon just remember not to play it too fast. no faster then about 72 bpm. its an intermezzo. gentle

  • This has a lot of energy, I can just hear so much energy in you!

  • Yes. Very nice ...but this is too good. Make a couple of mistakes next time you post please so I feel better.

  • Amazing! Beautiful playing :)

  • notice how he doesnt look at his hands...wowowowoww

  • lol i was just amazed how he was staring at the paper:P i can play it without sheets now=P

ah well im hearing some mistakes, and rythm is not that static as it should be..

so my advice for the pianist playin here: go and learn this song to play better;-) if you know it to play without sheets, it is a lot easier to play it without mistakes and rythm changes;)

but nice performance though, i like this song:)

  • You're really awesome. Im now playing that ragtime and its very hard for me, im impressed, that you play that very well.

  • argh how do u sight read like that! its awesome i wish i could do that. oh yes the song was nice too ;)

  • Can we get the piano tuned a bit better and give it a new set of hammers, or at least voice the existing ones? Such a good performance needs an instrument in better shape.

  • good work mate:)

  • bravo

  • nice!!=)

  • lol durmatic....n e way yeah

  • One Of Joplin's More Durmadic Songs.

  • finally i find someone superior to me. taking lvl 10 test next year XD

  • Hey, I play this too. You did a good job!
