After a name change, they became the hugely influential post-punk band The Birthday Party.

There's no way Roland Jupiter 8 would make such a sound. The synth you hear is a Yamaha DX7 but Roland was more expensive, which is my guess why they had it in the vid... UNPLUGGED! lol.

Oh and they should have called themselves "domestic partners next door" - 80's were so gay. But lots of good memories. I'm not gay-bashing, btw. Just look at it from today's view - many people would say "oh yeah, they're gayer than a $3 bill".
